I don't know if any of you saw this on DOA Game FB but it looks like this will probably be the last contest TN will ever do (in response to someone posting their personal top 10 and saying how they're disappointed w/ TN):

Dead or Alive Game What do you want to say to us? We put our all effort and guts to do this 2nd competition. We prepared official site for the place of voting because many western fans and eastern fans said it's not the place for voting. And now many western fans started saying tjey don't like the costumes selected, even worse, they are saying we (Tam NINJA) are crazy about those costumes. What about 1st time? 100% of costumes were selected from our fans in the west. Official site opens up the reach to more fans (world wide) for their vote and those 10 costumes were selected. Do you guys have any respects to authors of those? We provided fun place and a moth project for our community. But I am very disappointed by the response from our fans in the west to be honest.

Stuff it I can't be asked. The contest is over. I understand TN's anger, but I can understand the fan's anger too. Heck, I was angry with the results myself. If they dislike the results, they should be disappointed in the people that voted for it, not TN. Its not like its TN who voted lol. And btw TN, not EVERY person from the West reacted the way that fan did, ok?

tbh, TN probably doesn't even need to host another contest, with the huge amount of cool entries already submitted. There's enough content for TN to work on and produce quality DLC out of. Come on TN, us fans have spoon fed you with fantastic ideas. What are you waiting for?

But what exactly is everyone really disappointed with? Did people really want the free DOA merchandise that badly or do they want their designs in the game? Because like I've said 20 times already, being in the top 10 does not mean the design will be in the game.

If the costume DLC comes around and it features mostly almost-nude women with ass windows then you can be disappointed. But for now just be patient.

So great Costumes :) and the Male Body´s and Animations are so smooth :)

Miss it .

Doa 5 U needs to be updated when it depends on the Guys Costumes and Textures :)

Yeah, fans don't really have any right to be mad at Team Ninja about the results of the contest. And by getting worked up, they're making us look bad as a collective, which makes TN even less inclined to cater to the stuff we ask for politely.

So that's annoying. If you're one of those people, stop please. Thanks.

You don't have to look any further than in here...

Who honestly gives a flying fuck? The salt is extremely high, Western fans(Europe kinda counts as Western too) continue to show why we really don't deserve shit and I'm really beginning to lose faith in the community as a whole. It's like...looking at a bowl of Pretentiousness, you have someone saying "Why did this costume win!?!?!" when there's no real way TN could have rigged the votes(Considering the first contest...), but then, they'll BLAST the artists who won and act like assholes because their humanity has been lost. People act like this would ONLY happen to DOA makes it even more laughable and even more pretentious.

In the end, I'm not really even sure what to think anymore. I'm not even sure at this point we DESERVE Team Ninja doing these things if all we are going to do in the end is bitch about what they apparently did wrong and not just roll with it as if things never go wrong or not to our plans.

EDIT: This isn't calling people out specifically, this is just stating things about the situation as a whole.

i honestly have shit to say about this contest, but im in a promoting mood right now rather than a shit storm one.

so people hate ninjas and people hate grapplers. i thought it would be a brilliant idea to join the two together and i was wondering what y'all think of it before i post it on FB.

based on their preferred weapon of the weapon of the claws. i was thinking since they would likely fight to imitate that like the other ninjas mean open handed "claw" strikes. and because its open handed i was thinking how cool would it be if these became the first true grappler ninjas. i know you say Ryu is, but even the people who play as him say he doesn't play anywhere close to grappler. their stance makes a perfect basis for wild and animalistic pouncing moves

Okay you guys have convinced me (or maybe I was in denial) but P4 is significantly lacking in offensive tools to the extent where she doesn't seem that viable at this point.

And I still haven't bought Phase 4 yet despite the fact I've been planning to so I can fill the roster out...

At this point, i may just buy her costume set package despite the fact I didn't plan to so I can make up for it(Unless Lady Tengu is announced within the next few weeks)

EDIT: Being more specific since Phase 4's full name pretty much still includes Alpha too.
