This makes me miss their old costume selections more (specifically 2/2U).

I'm torn.
On the one hand, I don't blame tn for being angry with the fans after trying to cater with community contests.
On the other hand, I really don't blame the community for being sick to death of all the butt floss.
In theory.
But I think its safe to assume being top ten is certainly a factor of chances to be in game.
At any rate this is why haven't paid attention to the contests after doing my own submission. I know I bitch and gripe myself so an entire community doing the same would be backlashalypse.
Though tn is still not saying anything about whats dlc which is what people are thinking about...

True but only buttons I have to spare are the left sides LB/L1 and I don't even try to use those against people. Dreamcast ruined me with that.
I use LB and RB far more than LT & RT.

It always just made logical sense to me since
,,, or was move in any particular direction, and since and is always going to be dash, then or makes sense for "move more quickly in those directions" too. But, I understand that sometimes it gets in the way of move inputs sometimes.But, doesn't the H+P+K input screw with tagging in the same vein? I've been meaning to test that myself, actually, but I guess it was never at the forefront of my mind. (Yeah, I know. No one plays tag.)
I'm afraid you'll have to level up a bit more before that can happen. Hang in there.
A lot of people actually do, at least on PSN.
But I personally don't so it's not an issue for me.

This is off topic but I wonder how DOA sales and finances have been lately? They've really been extending this game's life and since they're releasing DLC characters every 3 months they must not be concerned about fans having declined interest. If I were them I would be releasing new characters fairly quickly and sell as DLC while players still have interest.
Three months isn't that long of a time span... It only feels like it is, if one is really excited to finally lay hands on a new character, but the character in between is just a lazy clone. For me it's like I have to wait half a year for a new interesting character addition after Marie Rose.

A Judo fighter would be nice (TN, takes notes from Goh Hinogami), or we could do: Bone Based Assassination Arts (like Nina Williams), Krav Maga, Savat, Leopard Fist, Tiger Fist (TN, takes notes from Wesker), Ba Gua Quan, Fu Jow Pai, Hapkido, Hung Gar, Kenpo, Mantis...pretty much anything that isn't Wing Chun (because an masters of this fighting style from China will not allow it to be taught to the Japanese).
