I guess we will see but I can guarantee you there will be many more players at arcades if a new character comes out and that would prolong the arcade's life compared to if no more characters were released.

The only tweet that claimed there would be more characters was a response in broken english to a question in broken english. I wouldn't put too much stock in that answer since it could have been easily misinterpreted. I'm positive that TN meant the only new fighter will be Nyo especially after that other guy from this site directly asked them if there would be more fighters after Tengu and TN refused to answer.

Refusing to answer isn't a confirmation that there won't be any more characters. TN might want to retain some element of surprise on their reveals and giving a straight confirm on twitter/fb would be counter-productive since they like to drop reveals/hints out of the blue.
There isn't much to suggest there will be at least one more character, but there isn't much to suggest let alone confirm there won't be anymore either. Better off to wait and see how arcade develops when Nyotengu is released on console.

Besides, I really really hope there's a new character I mean the only "original" new character is marie (you can argue about phase4 but in a sense she's like alpha kasumi but with more teleports so i won't consider that original) I mean i'm still hoping for an aikido like character who is male, i'll drop helena and christie like it was hot

This is a really sad thing, I can´t agree more.
But you know, when they announced "Ultimate", I was expecting a "Story Part 2" of DoA5 like they did in the BlazBlue Games for example.
However, I guess, there will be another version of DoA5. I didn't read that anywhere - it´s just a feeling. It could also be the "Final Edition" for Next Gen.
I'd consider it a waste of space on my harddrive if the DLC characters did come with a story chapter. I'd never even play that shit, unless they added trophies/achievements and I was ever feeling bored enough to unlock them.

That is a possibility because "angels" may not have been used in the literal sense. The white/black bunny outfits come to mind because the bundle was not officially referred to as bunnies but "angels and devils" instead which can be misleading.
