But why would they split the online community (which already isn't that big to begin with) with new versions again? I thought, that was already a little risky with the jump from DOA5 to DOA5Ultimate. :/ A PS4 and Xbone version made kinda sence...but for Xbox360 and PS3 too? (At least I guess, DOA5U and DOA5Last Round are not online compatible, like DOA5 and DOA5U, because of new characters and stages.)

Not really talking about them being the only additions but aren't people buying all these characters now?
People will gladly buy game featuring content that they already have?
There could be new characters maybe but there wasn't any hype in that little teaser that they had or mention of it.All they needed was the characters talking at the end to imply something.
The collection of stages is already so big, don't you think? Why would we need even more? And we now have plenty of characters too. I would never have thought, a DOA game would have so much characters... But there has to be even more stages and characters coming to Last Round, to justify yet another version of the game.
To be honest, Tekken Tag 2 was already too extensive for me, with all the characters and stages. XD I felt overwhelmed and didn't know where even to begin with.
Also all the costume for the ladies are really pain in the ass to scroll through already. XD

Because we're still missing several great ones from DOA2 and DOA3.
Cause half of the current stages are the same boring cage maps.

Whatever decision they made was going to be a lose-lose anyway. If they made it PS4/XB1 exclusive, people would b*tch that they only have last gen. If they make it for all 4 consoles people b*tch that it's not cross compatible and that it divides the players. I'd say this is a better alternative.

I prefer a DOA3U over DOA5's DOA3 and NG2 stages any day then...
Not necessarily I just prefer normal settings.

I understand how you feel about so many charactersr. Especially because you have to know every characters tricks/frame data if you want to be good. But at least there are less chances of mirror matches. More stages is always good though. DOA2's stages still beat DOA5's IMO.
