Veigar is really good and is under rated. he can instantly make a 5v5 fight into a 4v5 in no time. and his aoe stun is really good for team fights. and with his passive he never really dies down in damage like most apc's when it gets to late game.

Most definitely. Veigar just too stronk! Lol. APC's are FTW.

true. for early to mid game. late game they start falling off. i'm mostly a fan of supports but i used to main mid lane. but everyone started arguing over the role so i just took up support since it's a very important and underrated role. plus i play as support in just about every game that has the role available.

Mid lane is quite difficult to come by for the reason you stated, and I am not about to get into it with an immature teammate.

I'm thinking about taking up the support role, maybe with Lux and Karma.

i would suggest taking the original supports over those two. because neither of them do well at all against mobile champs or just even Sivir alone. and they don't shield or do damage for much since they are based on ap ratios and not just flat leveling up.

shoot i forgot this this thread was on here. used to the 8wayrun one. but yeah. how about that ascended mode. Shyvana is my "i wanna win" champ for that game. and if i get ascended? psssh. here comes about 8 free points before i die. cause i'm tanky and damaging at the same time--the definition of a RAID BOSS!

i find Ascension to be a good warm up game. i used to warm up with dominion but queue took too long. i wanna do ranked but atm my internet is taking dumps. so i don't know about getting that gold this season.

I'd like to get to Gold, but it's really hard to mesh with a team full of strangers. I keep getting into the situation where we all do decently in lane, but we lose because we can't communicate well. I'm waiting for my Diana to be really good before I do ranked, again at least. Ascension is alright, it's fun with friends, but that's about it.

i lose mostly due to team members not prioritizing objectives like they should. just lost a match because we aced their team and went in base to take nexus. there were 3 of us at full health. the enemy team was about to respawn as well. instead of taking the nexus my team wanted to kill the people coming from base panel instead of killing the less than 20% hp nexus. i'm support so i'm not doing much damage to the thing. the enemy team respawned and killed us. late game so enemy team just rushed our nexus (like we should have done) and killed it.

other team mates i don't like getting mixed up with are turtling team mates. turtling, as in, they are scared to do ANYTHING offensive. not matter what the circumstances. i'm leona. if i go in i expect my team to follow me unless it's just a stupid initiation or i get caught. we had a lux. she caught out their alistar. now i know he's their support but he was a good deal away from his team. it's late game. so if anyone gets caught out of position they should die. lux hits him with a Q. I ult him afterwards and go for their mid laner. i do all this and my team is just sitting there watching. it isn't until after the entire team jumps me that they decide to do something. by then it's too late. we lost our formation and the enemy team regrouped.

someone told my team in one game that PASSIVE PLAYSTYLE is not meant for this meta. if you play overly passive (i.e. turtling) then 9 out of 10 times you will lose. why? because the other team WILL push all lanes and they WILL have entire map pressure and control. and that's all because you are afraid to face them. my team was ahead in gold and we had baron yet we still lost the last fight 5 to 0. why? because you're not doing damage if you are just running away.

this is how i know i don't belong in silver. but getting people with the same ignorant mentality and refusal to learn is really getting annoying.

sorry for long rant. haven't posted anything, anywhere all day so this is making up for it.

I'm in low Silver because of the pre-season ranking drop and the fact I didn't know the game well. My personal way of leading a team is just to have them focus around the fed member. Like, say I was a fed Jinx, all the team would have to do is keep me in a good position to win most teamfights, then we could push down the towers pretty easily. It's not always guaranteed to work. For instance, a ranked game two days ago had our team 8 to 18 or some pretty high figure. I had all 8 kills (mostly on accident) but we couldn't get the team to play around me for the win. Also it's not all about the team play, we all make a bunch of mistakes too.

Also, people in this elo don't generally want to learn how the roles work. So, it's going to be a lot harder to carry as a support (not saying it's impossible). If you want, we could duo some time. My name is Bushi Chan on League.

i hear that support is one of the best roles to carry with. i breezed through bronze like nothing just by support. and it was all nami. i win my nami games. i play anyone else and it's instantly harder. don't know why. i make mistakes. and i don't normally call people out on their mistakes unless it was a blatant bad call. like diving at level 6. i ask why did they make that choice.

supports that can make plays generally have the potential to win games. leona, nami, thresh, and alistar easily fill that role. well, ali may have a harder time but the others definitely. and with nami i can make a play without having to put myself in the middle of the other team. just in case my team doesn't feel like fighting for some reason.

Different play styles I guess. I find Thresh easy to carry with, just because his kit works so well with pretty much every composition. I prefer the "control" roles like mid and jungle, that can pull other lanes ahead and control the objectives with the mid laner winning lane and jungler just being a good jungler. Thresh is pretty much the only support I can play really well, maybe Leona too, but I'm more comfortable with Thresh.

i hear you. i only play leona so i can roam and do easy ganks on mid lane. little harder to do for anyone else. something i gotta work on tonight in some matches. oh and btw my name is 0TrielaHilshire0. so it doesn't look like you got a friend request from some random dude.

Yeah, I don't roam mid lane often as support. Because, to be honest, I usually don't trust my adc alone. I mean, unless it's duo queue with my friend since he's an adc main u.u I saw your request before I saw this, but I just accepted anyway. lol

that's good. yeah, i hear you on leaving the adc alone. i rarely roam mid because of that. it's also the reason why I go back when they do. unless i know my adc has a good head on their shoulders i rarely leave lane. it's a risk going mid. lately my client has been acting stupid so i haven't been able to play. i just repaired so hopefully the problem's fixed. will find out later today.
