Lol but at least that's a halloween outfit (I didn't realize how many of the cast got tails for that dlc pack!). Ayane's is just...an Ivy-like getup with an attachable purple monkey tail? But to answer your original post I do like the pigtails. She reminds me of Kunimitsu from Tekken.

Its sun wukong, the monkey king. Aka Son Goku. The submission art illustrated it better. Without the headband it does kinda look like ivy with a random tail. With it though and its blatantly The monkey king

Interesting...I didn't know that's what it was referencing (although I'm still unsure as to how Ayane would get the monkey king title. XD). Thanks for that though. It's like Hitomi when someone explained her halloween dlc was a reference to a Japanese ghost when to me it just looked like some drunk girl who didn't know how to get dressed. XD

I have to say I like the new ones I've seen. I'm already thinking about which costume will match with which outfit. I think some work perfectly with specific costumes....

I actually really didn't think the short hair fit Hitomi judging from the trailer in her bikini, but with her new costume, it actually looked somewhat good, so I'm pretty content with it. I'm not a big fan of it, but I can live with that option.(I know they could've given her a much better short cut tbh...)

I'm not dissatisfied. I thought they'd come up with something - not take an outfit of which the rest of the girls have! IOW, why wasn't a schoolgirl outfit included for Alpha in the pack then? The lack of creativity is the issue. The same gripe made regarding Alpha when she debuted! "She's an excuse to have a 'naked Kasumi'!" Am I lying about this? Again, it's the "tacking on" that bothers me - not the outfit itself! Then again, folks will always see Alpha as "nude," so does it make a difference? I was hoping for a costume to actually wear, but the costume given doesn't say: "I'm a BAMF! Hold and eat a rocket, bitch!"
This is no different than Master's rant which was on something completely different, I'd guess you'd say the same thing to him? They are diminishing Alpha's uniqueness, ya know, the shit that makes her her. Why? I'd take a leaf on her vagina! As small as that nuance would be. Some pasties on her boobs! Those items make sense since she's nude - not some "tacked on and obviously borrowed" outfit!

The whole reason the costume works is because of how ridiculous the notion of her wearing a school uniform is, copy-paste or no. It's supposed to be humorous. I think you're taking it a bit too seriously if you're calling it an attack on her uniqueness.

No, I am not! I'll admit she looks silly and I'm laughing deep down, but I know they could have not done with the c/p job! I can overlook the jacket/dress thing with Kasumi, but that imo was unique. Who else has that combo? I'll say again, the lack of creativity! Hell, put on shitty costume on her, don't "borrow" and expect a "that's awesome!" reaction. "Wow! She looks just like Kasumi! Why not steal her outfit, too?" KWIM?
Maybe they're trying some things out. I'll give them that if they are since you have to start somewhere, I guess! Yet, how long has Alpha been a character - nude, nonetheless - now, you slap some clothes on her. I guess I'll have to see where this goes since she at last has an outfit. Shame she still comes in four colors - that, to me, would have brought some if not more variety.
8 combinations, meanwhile, the rest of the girls have like 8 million!
Now, tell me again, how I'm attacking her for being unique? Why would I attack a character I main (not that I can't)?
