DOA5 and Sexualization: Too Much?

Yeah, ew. I never did quite get that whole "mai waifu" thing that people seem to veer into when it comes to fictional characters, particularly Japanese ones. Some people are waaaaaaaaaaay too into some of the DOA females. Always in moderation.

About sexualitation... I don't really care so much as long as they are just a part of the DLC mountain. What annoys me about TN is the fact that they focus so much in sex sales and leave other parts about their fighting game behind. Such as more quotes, more quality for stages, the replay feature, better netcode, better balance, etc...
It seems that the money they got from the sexiest DLC is used mostly for making more content of this type and not for the quality of the game.

I think that if it felt that we had the opportunity, hell, even paid opportunity, to get some other extras sprinkled throughout all of the fetish gear, I don't think I'd feel as annoyed. I am a man of complex interests. But, right now, sometimes you get the feeling that most of the dev team doesn't even care past sexy. I'm sure that's not true, but it feels like that more often than it should.

You know that isn't true though, the interview even stated that half of the group knows they are reaching a thin line now which means they know it's getting out of hand on some level.
If the issue truly is above them...then Tecmo-Koei maybe more to blame than we think it isn't.

Most of the new costumes are stuff that's pretty common in DOA at this point. People will talk, but at the end of the day, these costumes are optional. I'm preordering Last Round from Best Buy, so I'm guessing that I get bikinis. I'm sure the other preorder costume DLC will be available on PSN eventually.

ETA: So I get the Showstoppers Encore DLC preorder costumes. And I'm assuming once the new female character is revealed, Best Buy preorders also get the New Challengers DLC preoder costumes.
