In regards to SC2HDO, I honestly wished Soulcalibur III got the HD re-release. Sure, Xbox 360 owners would've been left out, but in terms of content Soulcalibur III had the best amount of content. I understand SC2 has a large following, but SC3 was the peak of the series. Not taking anything away from SC5, because I love that game and it's LEAGUES better than SC4 ever was. As it stands now, I find SC2 to be over hyped.
But at the same token, I'd rather Namco focus efforts on a Soulcalibur VI. The problem with the current gen right now is the fact that most games are re-releases, remasters, and remakes of last gen games. I want some completely new games, especially when it comes to fighters. Even though DOA5 Last Round is in the category of remasters, it still was one of the games that made me say, "I want a PS4 because I want the full experience." In the case of the Soulcalibur series, I want Nacmo to make another one. It's the only 3D weapons based fighting game franchise left and I'd hate to see it fade away. Heck, I'd hate for any 3D fighter fade away. There's only 4 series left and most new fighters are anime 2D fighters or 2.5D fighters.
All of these amazing fighting games coming out and I'm like "Where the hell are you at, Project Soul? Keep up!" lol

I wish they would add blood and ditch the sparks. Doesn't need to be a splatterhouse gorefest, but seems silly to have all these blades not hurting anyone.
Or since its a new generation of consoles, program sparks when attacks hit armor or weapon clash, but blood when hitting exposed bodies.

As money driven as PS seems to be with this game, I actually really enjoy SCLS. They even said themselves if people don't like SCLS they can play SCII, SCIV, or SCV. Jeez I think this is why I like PS so much, because they like to experiment.

.....i still REALLY wish they'd do more with the guest characters with 4. Ashlotte is an official part of the story, and how we got the second Astaroth. Kamikirimusi apparently becomes Algol's mate/partner, if only due to practical reasons (both are long lived), then theres the cervantes chick and Scherezade the storyteller.

All bonus characters are made by guest artists. Ashlotte is the only one who can be considered canon to a certain extent. Not much will be done ever.
This was the best time of my life. Daishi was my favorite I'm so sad he went poof. I'll hold my judgement on Hoshino until we get a full SC game. Didn't like him at first, starting to dislike him less the more I see him reply to people.
