Here's the cool part though. There's still 33 other characters on the roster. If you were putting all of your hopes and expectations into the reveal of this final character to decide whether or not you were getting Last Round then maybe this was a way of stopping you from buying a game you didn't want anyway. I don't want to sound like a broken record but this was originally meant to be a simple port for current gen/PC. Maybe they shouldn't have even added 2 more characters at all since they were working with a short deadline but they still felt the need to give players additional content and I can't be mad at them in that aspect. Either jump ship now or focus on other aspects of the game because generic sparkly moe cow schoolgirl is here to stay.

This character is worse than I had originally thought. Not only is her design derivative, she's a second Dural character? With a fight intro likely solely created to make her boobs bounce? Milk and cow jokes? Bubblegum personality and ridiculous sparkly pop music? And 18 years old (because they had to)? Yeah, fuck this character. And not even in the "sexy time" way. Oh, she's cute and has huge boobs? That kind of happened multiple times already. And her gameplay style just gives off the vibe of TN not wanting to put in more work than they had to.

I'll refrain from projectile vomiting on everything. But, this does not inspire any desire to financially support Last Round from me. But, that doesn't matter. The fanbase will throw money at anything that has huge tits. No, no. THE BIGGEST TITS. Because that's what really matters, MIRITE? YAY INSTANT MAIN!

Ok, now that we got Werewolf's meltdown finally done and over with, lets finally get down to business on how different her move properties are compared to other fighters' in the coming weeks.

I suppose the "they didn't have to give you jack" argument is there, but I think them doing it was a financial decision to further justify the possible purchase for the eyes of the general populace. Not really them feeling the need to give the players more content in the sense of charity. And I honestly don't think, whether people like her now or not, that Honoka is really any shade of things that people were requesting up to this point.

No, because we didn't do that with any of the other DLC characters and I believe we didn't do that for Raidou, so doing that with Honoka would be a blatant disservice to the people who want to main her.

Atleast you understand that. I'm not saying you have or don't have a point, that's completely on you, I just don't want prospective newbies and those who want to try Honoka out looking at this and feeling as if it's gonna be the Lucky Chloe(and to a lesser extent, the new guy that was unveiled recently) incident in which Tekken pretty much been ravaged to pieces in credibility.

It seems I'm in the minority here, but I actually like Honoka a lot! Maybe it's the pink hair messing with me, but I love her visual design and I like her skull shirt and camo miniskirt costume a lot (hate the cow costumes though -_-). I guess I don't find her to be generic because I don't watch anime, but this is still newish for DOA. Plus, she's pretty. <333 I just found a new waifu tehehee!

As for her gameplay, I don't think that her being a copycat is a bad thing or lazy. The moveset seems to have some thought behind it in terms of which character's moves go where and the attacks flow well together and make sense. Plus, it's great that she has some stances as well; I look forward to seeing what other stances she has other than Bokuho (and if Bokuho is all, I honestly wouldn't mind). What's also interesting is that most other copy characters are visually different than a normal person whereas Honoka is just a schoolgirl that has been imbued with this power. For me, this is pretty interesting.

I guess I just haven't been around enough in anime or other fighting games to see the unoriginality of the character, but either way, I'm excited to see more of her and her gameplay and to learn how to play as her (she's probably going to be difficult for me to learn though). Maybe you guys just need some Hidden Valley Ranch to enjoy your salad.

Oh yeah, about her "damage output" since I haven't seen anyone say it, her whole combo in the leaked footage was on High Counter Damage, that's why it did so much.

I'm so excited to play as her, i squealed this morning as i watched the trailer. Sorry i don't care much for why people dislike her. Meh t his community dislikes any and everything then starts a thread on why they hate it, then fighting commences on both sides cry cry, wah wah same ol stuff. Sorry to break up the discussion here but in that Honoka vs marie vid, the damage seemed very high? Do you think life may be lowered back to 270 for last round?

The big combo was on high counter. It looked about right for 300.

Did anyone else feel like her line from the trailer where she questions being "so hot" felt kinda out of place? Maybe she's secretly vain and not so bubbly, but assuming she's not it seems like a weird thing for her to say. So that got me thinking that maybe something was lost in translation? When she says it, her hand has that aura and she seems to me focusing on it, so maybe something along the lines of "Why am I burning up?" might have been more accurate? Then again, maybe the wording is correct and it was supposed to have that double meaning, but it's just not as obvious in English?

I haven't seen a JP version of the trailer, nor do I have the expertise to translate spoken Japanese if I had, so maybe I'm totally off the mark. Just some speculation on my part.
