What types of new features do you hope in added later in DOA5: Last Round

Since it has been confirmed that we will likely get new stages and characters, I am hoping for the following.

Characters I definitely want:
Brand new male
Brand new female

Characters I'd be pretty interested in seeing:
Genra
Irene
Guest Character (that isn't from VF)

Stages:
New Ones
and/or
Gamblers Paradise
Burai Zenin
Ariel Gardens
___________________________________________________
For a new male and female, I would love if one of them were an Asian character that isn't Japanese or Chinese (preferably would like a Korean) and I would love the other to be of a not so used race like a Black, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Indian, ect character.

What are you hoping is added in the game in the future?


Btw, you don't have to just post what sort of characters and stages you'd like. You can also post what kinds of modes, gameplay improvements, ect you'd like to see added later on as well. Who knows, maybe TN will look at our suggestions and take them into consideration.

Hell no. Considering that we might not be getting a new VF for some time, I'd gladly accept another VF guest.

If they can patch in the ability to allow USB music player for custom soundtracks (I asked if this is possible on their official facebook page after learning Dying Light doesn't allow it, and they said it doesn't sadly.)

Another, unless they already put it in is the option to toggle on/off voice chat when playing online, I don't like hearing other players when they play using a mic.

I wanna be a hopeless romantic and say...

... I want Ryo Hazuki as a guest fighter. If not possible, then Akira should get a Ryo outfit.
I would instantly make him a secondary character and spam taunts, but I'll only do the latter if he has his old english voice.

Other than that, I'd definitely want some old stages back. Especially the crazy, unpredictable ones, or more ceilings.
Plus, if they do add new characters:

• I'd like the new girl to have visible muscles. I'm not saying she should be super crazy fetishistic like the Amazon from Dragon's Crown... something like Zero Suit Samus from the last Smash game. Also it'd be a plus if she were indian or mediterranean with dark hair.
• I'd like the new guy to surprise me. Personally I'd go for a pretty guy that looks older than Eliot, but at this point I guess I could be happy with anything except more of the same.

I'd rather them save brand new fighting styles (Judo, Krav Maga, etc.) for DOA6. The cast as for now is great. They can't really push with new martial art concepts as for now.

I'm not particulary asking for them, but I wouldn't mind Genra's grandson (Honoka's rival), Kage Maru (the last VF guest imo worthy of making an appearance in DOA) and Miss Monday (as the Mokujin of DOA, because you know... she's the only good thing people will remember from Yaiba so they can already transfer her to the DOA universe). Ryo (Shenmue) would be great too I think, as a more casual version of Akira.

But overall I'd rather have 3-4 new stages and even hair options for the whole cast.

Anyhow I never understood the appeal of putting Irene or Miss Monday in. They seem pretty much useless. Just because a background character exists doesn't mean they absolutely have to be playable, or even should be. At least Rachel and Momiji could kill stuff on their own. Irene and Miss Monday are the types of characters who have other people do that for them.

And the one time Irene did kill anything at the start of NG2 she immediately got captured. Not really impressive.

To be fair, I think she'd have a better time against regular people like the DOA cast, than superninjas and fiends like in Ninja Gaiden lol.

Not that I'd rather they just give Rachel a Sonya costume instead of bringing the girl herself in. Since they had to make up movesets for rachel and momiji anyway, I feel like that would be a lot easier than having to completely make something up for Irene.

Characters that I would like to see:

• Brand new male character;
• Brand new female character;
• Genra/Omega;
  
• Irene Lew.

I give priority to the male characters but of course I know that TN could never be able to release DLC characters without including at least the half of them as females. For me this would be the perfect addition of extra characters (of course just for my preferences).

Stages that I would like to see:

• Demon's Church (DoA2U version);
  
• Aerial Gardens (DoA2U version);
  
• DOATEC HK;
• Seaside Market;
• Temple of the Mountain;
• An original multi tier stage with an irregular shape in a natural environment (I'm sure that TN can do it ).

About the Doa4 stages, they could be even modified in the aspects that are not considered good for the competitive game, so without making of them a 100% replica.

Modes that I would like to see:

• Update of the Team Battle with the chance to play in it with all the Tag stages;
• Return of the Team Battle online;
• In general additions and updating of online modes;
• A mini volleyball mode playable with all the roster (well, I think that would be funny, however the priority is to the modes really addressed to the fighting game).

I have no great ideas for new modes but I'm sure that there is a big room for improvement in this matter. I hope that TN will do something about this.

No one would be glad for this, far better for the character's fans to not get her at all if this is the alternative.

Me too, but I don't think she will have an unique fighting style.

I'm not sure about this... Ryo DID start as Akira back when Shenmue was on the Saturn, but AFAIK now it's impossible for him to be Akira: they were born on different days and use different fighting styles.
But yeah I'd still be happy with a Ryo outfit for Akira, as I said; after all Ryo's based on him... but how much money would TN need to give SEGA for that and other SEGA related cosplay/clothing though?? Sigh.

Although I believe they already said they won't have it, I'd like DLC characters to get some story, maybe that way I would end up liking some of them more.

New Male: A tough male martial art practitioner who is older then Leon but way younger then Gen Fu (early-mid 50s most preferable)
New Male: A pretty boy type character with effeminate tendencies who is around Eliot's age (I'd like more younger guy representation for DOA)
New Female: A agent character who is also a body guard to another character (maybe Helena or Marie Rose) with Nicole's personality
New Female: A character from an island country who is cute, has a upbeat personality, and talks with an accent

I'd rather Team Ninja just wait to introduce new characters and fighting styles for DOA6 at this point. If another character were to be introduced, I'd rather it be Donovan at this point. He's always sending out his bodyguard, son, scientist, and clones to fight for him. I'm sure by now at this point he's gathered enough data to actually partake in the fight. Plus, he has a system voice for crying out loud. The only thing I'd like for Last Round to add are BRAND NEW stages and new costumes and new hairstyles.

I agree.
Donovan would be a nice and relevant surprise. If Honoka didn't existed, I wouldn't have minded him having her copycat ability.

But anything can happen with that character, which is cool : the Genra option, the Mokujin option, or a totally new fighting style which is unlikely.
In terms of tag interaction, he has so much potential : he kidnapped Kasumi, Hayate, killed Helena's father, betrayed Bayman, he controls Christie and Lisa, and he is Rig's father. Just don't kill him and we have a badass vilain already.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised to see back Genra's moveset (or an edited version of it) through the inclusion of Donovan: I can't say to not like the idea, but I would be sad for all the people that like the DoA3 boss and want his persona back, especially after that in the Dimension canon he was showned all less than a mindless pawn (also keeping his human traits that apparently can mutate when he wishes).

But if Donovan come back in this way, this would reveal definitely that he is a ninja and I'm not sure if a similar discovery should be done aside from the plot (after all the tie between him and the Hajinmon clan got the importance of an after credit scene in Dimensions).

I'm still curious to know what is the bond between Donovan (and his DOATEC) and Raidou & Genra...
