DoA5:LR DLC Outfits Packs.

Just bought Helena's dress.
She looks nice with the braid option.

If it were just me, I would just cut the bottom half. The bottom of the dress looks stupid with the boots.
In terms of design though, the top is well balanced (nice choice of pattern and texture).

It's fun the see a weapon on Helena's back.

With respect to those that disagree, logically.... At the end of the day all characters belong to Team Ninja. The persona of said 'fictional' characters is theirs to control. People have a tendency to build up these personalities in their own minds, and when Team Ninja's idea and the fans' ideas don't match there is a conflict. It's a subjective notion, but it's Team Ninja's IP not the fans.

This is pretty much the notion I stay with everytime I play a fighter. How is it somehow anymore practical that Sakura STILL wears her Schoolgirl outfit at 19 years old and that somehow gets no complaints, R.Mika literally wears an outfit that even female wrestlers would scoff at and Juri's outfit is a Wardrobe Malfunction waiting to happen, but somehow Team Ninja is somehow killing their characters' "realistic portrayals" when just like any other company they choose how to represent their characters.

We have no more right to say how bad a character is than they do.

Its the full black outfits like Ryus c1 that were for stage plays. The deep blues like his c2 actually are good for night missions.

And most of the other times, they dress like typical civilians.

Now that this pack is done, I can predict the following :
1) They will start teasing SK's outfit next week or late in the weekend
2) The teasing will proceed during 4/5 days
3) They will leak out the full pack on 2chan or somewhere else in Japan, like always
4) We will have a teaser on the current of the 23
5) Sk pack will be available the 24 for everyone, excepted for those poor PS3 owner XD

Some feeble attempt at trying to prevent DLC piracy (it's possible everywhere except PS4/bone/wiiu). That's also why they made up some nonsense about storage limitations (uh what? lol) on last gen consoles.

I think that this is true because for this reason they have also decided to not release the promoted Last Round Pack on old gen that had to include all the old DoA5U DLC (+ very likely fan designs + Raidou and Honoka) present in the disc of PS4/Xbox One. Then surely this is far from being the only reason and KT has all the interests to promote the purchase of the current gen versions.

I would like to see a copy of this canon you speak of... Unless you work at Team Ninja, I'm sure you don't have a copy of it... You have built up in your mind that character X has to wear Y in versus just because they did in story mode. This argument is invalid. Team Ninja has never said that Versus is Story Mode, and that Versus must adhere to the rules contained within. #ImaginedFanIdea

Just wanted to point out on Juri, its because she's literally designed exactly like a purple pallet swap of Jolyne Kujo from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Much like how Guile is designed directly after a character from the same series, same with Gill and Urien, and his yun and Yang are designed after Duo and Trowa from Gundam, Balrog is Mike Tyson, Alex and Hugo are Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant, etc. Quite a few SF characters are straight ripoffs of prexisting characters and people.

As for sakura maybe she's just held back lol. All that traveling and fighting made her fail her classes?

Do you guys think Leon will get Doku or something generic?

If Team NINJA wished to make cosplayers of Ninja Gaiden characters we would have already seen them in these 2 packs. If something you should try to figure the outfits of the remaining males on the basis of what could be more fitting for them from the customization mode of NG3RE Multiplayer (and maybe in the process blinking an eye to Mortal Kombat too).

There is definitely something that doesn't work between SCEE and Tecmo Koei since DoA5U: I don't know the causes and the responsabilities, but what is happening in the management of the European Sony store is rarely seen in the other regional markets or in the Microsoft one. If this pack is delayed, be sure that the reason is the same for the delay of Honoka, Raidou, other outfits or patches.

Be sure that all the preorders DLC will come later as paid ones for everyone, the only outfit where is possible to get some realistic doubts (and again no certainty of exclusivity) is the "Angelic Maid" recolour for Marie Rose.

I'd think they'd tell us about it first.

I meant that they hinted that soon the DLC support for PS3 and Xbox 360 could stop, not that this is ended. Indeed think that we can already considered confirmed on old gen at least the Ninja Clans volume 3.
