I have a solution!

Rather than trying to compare them directly, instead I'm going to pretend the DOA girls play SK on vitas in the lobby between their tournament matches, so they are cosplaying their mains/favorite characters lol.

Gets around the issue and sets up some fun characterizations :3

Fuck yeah, problem solver right here!

Rachel dresses like a dominatrix. We agree on that. But if you look to Rachel closely I don't understand how you can say "accentuates her womanhood with her mannerisms".She doesn't act like a slut AT ALL. In fact, I would say she's quite tomboyish if was not because she dresses in a very explicit outfit. I don't see Rachel with sensual moves like Tina or Lisa, or elegant femenine moves like Helena's or Kasumi's, or "femme fatal" attitude like Christie's. And even her outfit is clearly a dominatrix costume, she can be seen as well like a brawler or gladiator, because she's quite big and tall, muscular/strong, fighting with a hammer and with a quite big shoulder plate with spikes. Some just see Rachel like Ivy of SC because she looks like a dominatrix and she has an stomp, but to me she's more like Astaroth. But because Astaroth is a man everybody forgets he dresses like a male dominatrix, too.

Anyway. No teases or trailers for now T T

And I would like remember that the teasing image we saw of Daidouji is not concluding 100% that is Rachel. It could be someone else... Same with Yagyu, it could be Phase instead of Ayane...

Nobody said anything like "slut". This isn't Tina lol.

No I'm talking about how she wears about 5 pounds of makeup, puts her hand on her hip and does the confident "sexywalk", her win poses, wearing jewelry and high maintenance ornate hairstyle, etc.

Other than the stuff she inherited from Bayman through Nicole, there's nothing masculine about Rachel at all.

And no she's nothing like astaroth lol. She's all like ivy, from mannerisms to fighting style. She can't just go freight train on people like a power character. She relies on juggles and loops like again, Ivy.
.the problem is people don't understand that she's more of a western type of strong confident woman, as opposed to the Japanese type of cutesy, elegant woman. This is why Rachel just WORKS in the business suit. Truly a power suit lol.

Well, I disagree. But I don't want to turn out this topic into a "how I see Rachel" topic, maybe we should talk about her in her own thread. However, it's interesting to see other visions I don't have about a videogame character :)

Cause while she's a curvalicious girl, Rachel's definitely a Hollywood Amazon lol.

Now if you mean Superman Apocalypse movie manly wonder woman who performs Greek grappling on opponents kinda amazon then that's different. Thatd be awesome as hell but Rachel's not really like that. She is with her hammer though.
