Haha...your Street Fighter Anniversary chess set is awesome, but a i prefer a classic Stauton.
Not getting it to play on it, haha. It just kind of got me interested in playing again.

Yeah when I get it I'll take a bunch. Might toss a vid up on my YT channel, too. Not sure yet. All I've been told is that it releases this month so I really have no idea when it'll arrive. Luckily I get P4A tomorrow and Darksiders II next week, followed by GVN at the end of the month in Philly, so I get to keep busy.
I'm not heartless, I overlooked the link, and as far as SF goes, I happen to like Honda, Remy, and Karin in particular, and 1 out of 3 ain't bad in this set.
Regarding the set though, it looks like something my old man would definitely be interested in for a Christmas gift. It gets bonus cool points just for Honda being a friggin' knight!
But above all... it's shiny and stuff. If I owned one, I'd make sure everyone playing it washes their dad-gummed hands first.

Your chess set looks really good, really clean and well taken care of.This is my good old chess set and my Saitek digital clock.
Looks tiny, but the chessboard has 19" x 19". in the past, bloody battles have been fought in it.
PS: 20 minutes cleaning the board and pieces for the photo haha

I have a pretty standard tournament set with triple-weighted pieces and foldup board (like a big mousepad, lol). Nothing fancy. I do have a black Chronos II clock, though, with touch sensor.
Don't you have clubs and tournaments within driving distance? Seems to me there'd be quality comp for chess pretty much everywhere.

I know I can play how I want to play, clock or no clock. I was asking if this particular chess game the site/app they are using is forcing you to play with the clock? I do better when I am not playing against a clock. I know some people believe the clock is the best way to play.
Hopefully I can get around to downloading the game later today. I've been real busy lately.

I love Chess, haven't been oiling up my rust as of late, but after being in Chess Clubs/Tournaments, I'm sure a few hard fought games will get me back on par.
