Aww, I was still tricked! xD The announcement of the new character not appearing in the new Xtreme game made me think that she wouldn't have been a female character, but this because discarding since the beginning the idea of a new guest one. This was a scenario that could easily open the path to a new female character and again not completely disposable by TN (as Pai or Sarah) and indeed it's what happened. Definitely I wasn't expecting this and with the exception of Tifa I would have preffered an original character to a guest one.
I don't know too much the Warriors games but the ancient armor design and the fighting style of Naotora seem interesting, at this point I believe that it's obvious that TN will not make an attempt to give a clone moveset to the character (even because there already 2 characters of this kind), but they will try to mutate her fighting style in DW as a DoA one. I'm pretty curious to see the final outcome, the original plan for Mila was to make of her a boxer using only punches, maybe they will use the opposite leitmotiv for Naotora? It's true anyway that Rig and Sarah are already founded on a heavily based kicking fighting style, so I'm expecting more that the news of Naotora will come from moves more fantasy and inspired to her original game.
I'm not too much in the moe kind of characters, but I have no problem with it if not that Honoka seems already share these traits (however I repeat that I don't know the Warriors games and so its characters).
