To be fair, I main Tengu in DOA4 and haven't complained at all about them removing him. I'm actually looking forward to a completely new beginning, starting fresh with a new character. I'll always miss the master of Tengu-do, but I'll just pick someone else up and enjoy a vastly superior game.

Tengu can be an exception. He has an ENTIRE moveset to himself. I can see if people mained him. But Leon and Ein? Be forreal. Don't nobody care about them.

Leon and Bayman have been differentiated since DOA3
Their stuns, grapples, low attacks, down attacks, and strings are different. they may have like less than handful of similar animations, and they play extremely different. One has an air throw the other has a roll.. one has a running throw the other doesn't ... hell even their guard breakers are different.

Ein on the other hand may share alot more similarities with hitomi but...
HIS MODEL IS THERE DAMNIT ... ITS FUCKING HAYATE ...
strap on some shades and leather and bam .. instant Ein model ..
he may not be as unique but he's still a big part of the game and has a huge followin.

everyone has an almost similar Jab in the game .. with your argument we might as well get rid of everyone then. Go play Dive Kick.

Did you make the game, Hayashi tell you? If not you don't really know. The Japanese site says 24 and Alpha 152 is no way getting a swim suit neither is she one of the twelve females because she's a boss character which will take more to unlock. This is telling me Alpha 152 is not one of the characters that magazine is referring to because boss characters are special unlock characters. Unless Leon is replaced, I'd say MOST LIKELY Leon will be playable. Alpha would just be a bonus character making the roster 25. We haven't seen the final character select screen, but 24 would look pretty tacky.

Yes it did, it also said something about 12 females with swim suits. No one on this board can confirm or disconfirm anything. Unless they work foR tecmokoei or if they were told from an employee. Considering this site it's obvious NOT talking about Alpha 152, that's a boss character, but maybe unlockable. Leon, Genfu,Helena, Mila, and Pai are probably who are most likely left.

Prove it, let's. See an actuall source from teamninja disconfirming them. We can't make assumptions base off alpha builds or anny buils. Even the alpha build was missing stuff, for instance 3 levels were missing. TEAmninja could easily have separate files and intentional gave us something incomplete just to put us in suspense.

Then, if they are, it will be a delightful surprise. If they are not, then at least most of the sting will be gone.

I don't think Alpha 152 would wear a swim suit either, if she's init would make the roster 25. Obviously all you saw was unfinished data that is missing stuff even 3 levels, but you took it as an official disconfirmation. Teamninja could easily have the original files saved in a different folder.

They have to. see, not everyone has access to all this media dump.

Hell I never even heard of a DOA community before a few months back when I joined this site.. And I'm pretty old school when it comes to the game.

Also it affects whatever marketing plan they may have. sometimes knowing in advance kills hype...

Imagine if no1 knew about akira .. or sarah ..
and you saw that epic trailer... I'm positive the reaction would have been completely different

Leon who has almost zero data in the game is a more likely candidate than a character who we've seen in an official trailer in some form, has a moveset and other data in the game, and whose costumes are simple color swaps. If you say so....

Where do you think I got those three other levels? I think I've already proven myself reliable, as far as hacked info goes.

Since when do guides not cover characters you have to unlock? Isn't that the point of the guide?

If the roster is 24, then Alpha-152 is #24. If the roster turns out to be 25, then she's still #24 but Leon won't be #25.
