It does indeed look slowly better. Or I'm just very disillusioned in fighting game graphics after experiencing the pretty ugly Street Fighter 5. XD

Edit: Watched it completely now and now I'm sure they have to be messing up the character design on purpose. Terry Bogard looks really lame now. They didn't change much actually, just gave his jacket sleeves but all his badassness ist gone like that.

id say it is. they're really starting to show off the ability to do more detailed models and make more diverse faces. some of these are better than their OG counterparts in my opinion. Benimaru id say looks better than he ever did.

by the way have yall heard Samurai Showdown may be getting the same treatment in 2017. before i was a bit worried, but this is no longer a lack of ability its at the point where they're up to the challenge however they need to be willing to listen to feedback.

It was said that it was going to be 2.5D Gameplay. Let's hope it's like this because SNK tries too hard to incorporate 3D gameplay with their 2D fighters, and it doesn't work most of the time.

it wasn't just SNK all the fighters did that when they thought nobody would care about 2D anymore. that fear was disproven long ago however.

Secondly so happy they gave team ikari versions of their old costumes back. Clark is missing his vest but that new shirt looks really cool. also he got his grapples back yay! After losing his whole move set in XIII that's a godsend.

Well it says that new chinese girl will be a stance character, too. What sounds really interesting to me.
I really want to see all these new faces. I'm pretty excited that KOF roster will grow bigger this time. And I can't wait to see Mai. I wonder if she'll look updated, like Andy, or same as always, like King.

Actually king has a completely new look, mostly thanks to her new hairstyle.

Because she is wearing exactly the same outfit she had in KOF'96 and KOF'97. As for her "new" hairstyle.. yeah, right, having her hair right side behind her ear is a really really new.

For her its a huge difference. Just like how xiii gave her a much slimmer physique, changing her hair to be more feminine makes a huge difference on a character who otherwise was designed to look like a man
