All this keeps telling me is that this seriously should not have been rushed for 60$...
Sorry, had to say that again...

This early release has really had no benefits for them, never could have, and only serves to make the people like me happy. i feel bad for them i honestly do.
I agree with this but they should've at least added a fucking arcade mode like that's the easiest shit you could do in a fighting game.Lol, what?! XD Capcom isn't some charitable organistion, they are a company and they wanted your money, they wanted it quick and they perfectly well knew they could get it from you (and other hardcore gamers) without much complaining. Congratz to them! They got that right!
They figured it would suit themselves best if they released the game at this point in time (punctual for their upcoming tournament) and in the state that it was, even if they screwed over the casuals and they also knew perfectly well that the casuals would feel screwed over and some backlash was definitely coming. They are pros for many years and they must have figured that they will get away with it in the long run. It's still much too early to say if they really did or didn't. Maybe they really do...but maybe they miscalculated things. That sometimes happens with humans too, even if they are pros.
But I agree, they are not lazy, they are not dumb and they are also not evil, they are capitalist!

Also do you have SFV now???
rushed for 60$ or held back for 60$ its all the same to me. then again im an abnormally uncritical individual so i guess maybe i shouldn't be the metric.
ill admit it should have been held back till march business wise, but ill never agree with those who call them lazy or immoral for not doing so. this early release has really had no benefits for them, never could have, and only serves to make the people like me happy. i feel bad for them i honestly do.
Stockholm syndrome
is a psychological phenomenon described in 1973 in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending and identifying with the captors. These feelings are generally considered irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, who essentially mistake a lack of abuse from their captors for an act of kindness.
Stockholm syndrome can be seen as a form of traumatic bonding, which does not necessarily require a hostage scenario, but which describes "strong emotional ties that develop between two persons where one person intermittently harasses, beats, threatens, abuses, or intimidates the other." One commonly used hypothesis to explain the effect of Stockholm syndrome is based on Freudian theory. It suggests that the bonding is the individual's response to trauma in becoming a victim. Identifying with the aggressor is one way that the ego defends itself. When a victim believes the same values as the aggressor, they cease to be perceived as a threat.
I feel like this describes some of the behavior in this thread.
In marketing and psychology we also call this Cognitive Dissonance. Example: You bought a product and it doesn't fulfill your needs, to not feel bad about yourself for being tricked you basically lie to yourself and make up excuses for the product/the company that betrayed your trust. It's a fairly common. phenomenon...but even more prominent in video game business where many people develop a very strong bond to a console or video game company or game series, aka fanboys.![]()
Pretty much what I had before last year when I got a Wii u instead of a ps4 and no one was releasing anything for it. I really want this game though but I'm holding off from buying it until I see improvements in certain areas.
Grape I don't want to hear shit from someone who couldn't even grasp the concept of 6 fucking buttons.
You can disagree but you do NOT try to invalidate my fucking opinion with you arm chair psychologist bullshit. this is not me joking I do not like being called a fucking liar.
I was having more fun with Mika but I tend to levitate towards grapplers so I may have a bias there. I felt like I had an easier time keeping opponents off of me with Mika and the few times I could get something in, she got me more damage. If you always went for someone more quick-hitting then go for Karin honestly but that's my impression as a fellow newb finding his footing. Is there anyone that plays SF know which character would be a better choice for me, a beginner who can never get the hang of this game?
I was being purposely obtuse (also plain honest) to illustrate a lot of information and concepts fighting game players take for granted aren't explained elsewhere to the average person. You (and many others) are unable to comprehend this.Grape I don't want to hear shit from someone who couldn't even grasp the concept of 6 fucking buttons.
