Maybe Luna and/or her assistant will turn out to be tsundere or complete antagonists. I'm really interested in Luna and her assistant more than any other character. I want them to be enemy's at some point but I think they've completely removed that part of her character when she became Luna.
I have the feeling "Gentiana" will be more of a yandere if anything:

I also think there is bound to be some conflict between Noctis and Luna eventually. From what we know it's as if the complete story is set up for that one showdown.

Yeah her assistant "Gentiana" I couldn't remember her name. She seems very interesting and mischievous from the look of her picture. Maybe she as an ulterior motive? It will be exciting to see how the characters act since we've only seen a tiny bit of them so far.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if I was looking way to into it and she's just her assistant and nothing more. I want to play as Luna at one point. Maybe it could be like in 8 where you play as Luca. It could be Luna and her assistant escape Insomnia after the city's attacked?!

I want play as Luna too, she's cool, but i don't think they'll let us, we can't even play the other 3 members of the party D:
Maybe it would have been a possibility if Stella was still there as she seemed to have the same powers as Noctis (which they apparently removed in Luna; i'm talking about the weapon summoning thing) so she her playstyle would have been like Noctis' but with different animations.
It would be still cool if Luna joined the party permanently near the end of the story though, keeping the "bro trip" theme for most of the game.

We already know of at least one temporary party member and we barely know anything about him so hopefully an important character like Luna can be at least a temporary member.

She was already confirmed to be a temporary member, still unknown if you'll be able to control her directly like Noctis, chances are low xD
Btw with a team of 5 members battles are gonna be awesome, the more the better!!! lol

Also, unless its drastically changed the system isn't too far different from Lightning Returns. The biggest differences are its real time(no battle arena), they improved the perfect guard mechanic, no stagger system and Noctis has special powers depending on the ancient blade or whatever they are(one is pretty much Devil Trigger)

I loved LR's combat system. There was so much control over what you did in battle and being able to switch outfits was extremely fast. And like you mentioned being able to guard at any point was great too. I'm not sure how others will react to my opinions though.
Did you play Duscae?

Umm yes... That why I said its similar to LR, which it is/was. In fact if LR was real time like XV it'd practically be identical.
I'm talking about core mechanics like being able to block/dodge use any and every type of weapon, and being able to take advantage of enemy weakspots (attacking Deadeye's blonde spot did more damage for example) its all very similar to how LR works.

God! Everyone has played Duscae but me. I'm so tempted to just get type 0 for the code but the full game should hopefully be coming out this year. ( it better )
