And for shits and giggles, they hide Ein and Leon's code, so that they end up unlockable too. And you know what I dont get? People seem to be going straight off a leaked list and I can't simply do that. Blanka and Sakura wasnt leaked in the SFXT leaked characters list, and somehow they ended up in it? TN obviously keeping keeping those characters on that list already proved they are smarter than you guys think and that they are in your heads fucking with yall lol.....they are friggin NINJAS...remember that.

PAX or sometime this week would be better actually, they're making a mistake with holding back Mila, it's just like sometimes you could over hype something, but it may turn out not to be "all of that" when you make fans wait for so long. Two "completely brand new never before seen characters" is pretty much small in comparison and still feels a bit lacking compared to current fighting games that already came out. I think the reason for Tekken and Street Fighter to be the most successful fighters is simply because they have a broad relation of characters that people can relate to, just much more diversity and much more fighting styles. I think Leon should of never been a character using Sambo, he should of been a character using Vale Tudo, because the way he fights feel that way. I would hope Mila would be either Arab or Middle Eastern or even Brazilian (using a different Brazilian fighting style besides capoeira)

If Alpha 152 is unlockable in which she probably is, Tengu or Genra would be better or even Donovan, simply because she's just another Kasumi model with a large number of her own moves, and to me not so interesting.

Considering the possible space for more slots on that character select, I don't rule that idea out because even in that interview by werewolfgold Hayashi still did not out right disconfirm Ein, the other guy said "no Ein, and no Leon" and it doesn't matter that it was said first or last, Hayashi did not say that whatsoever-no indication of quotes etc etc. I definitely do not have my hopes up at all, but I'll just have to wait and see. Regardless, I'd wish they have MORE brand new characters at least 4.

That screencap of "???" could also be Momiji. But no, no one thinks that way...

You guys do realize that Akira and Sarah count as new characters right¿ So Mila and Rig aren't the only "new" fighters.

Ein and Leon are NOT in the game.

So isn't Momiji, so stop it already.

I've just lived too many hypes for fighting games and there's always people who claim stuff till the end only to get their hopes crushed.

I just do it to leave opportunities open. For instance SC4. Those extra characters no one expected to have, but they were available for more variety.

Anyways, you cant always follow a leaked list, thats all im saying.

Shiden DOES count, he's not exactly a Hayate clone.

But Blaze, for your own good, just stop "leaving opportunities opened". Ein, Leon and more than anything Momiji, are not in the game. You'll get 23 different playable guys to enjoy so just stop it already please.

I think me too that these 24 characters will be the final roster for the game.


But I would love to play in DOA5 with the rest of the cast from Doa Dimensions...

Shiden is an EXACT COPY OF HAYATE! just scrap him... and Raidou.... just put Momiji and Rachel and Ill be a happy man.

I know that in DOa DImensions Shiden has the "Raijin" while Hayate has another move in substitution of that one... I don't know if there are other differents between the two characters...

EDIT:
I do some research (unfortunately I don't have Doa:D...) and, also how is written in the Doawikia.com:
  • Gameplay-wise, he bears a stripped-down version of Hayate's moveset, but boasts a few unique strings that previously were exclusive to Hayate in Dead or Alive 3.
  • Yosuke Hayashi revealed that, because of how lethal and hard Shiden's skills were, he was given the nickname "Raijin; the God of Thunder."

Shiden is not exactly a clone of Hayate, but anyway is not wrong consider him a variation (like Leon for Bayman in his first apparition in Doa2):
