Did anyone notice this? (Mila's face? 24 total characters?)

I know that in DOa DImensions Shiden has the "Raijin" while Hayate has another move in substitution of that one... I don't know if there are other differents between the two characters...

EDIT:
I do some research (unfortunately I don't have Doa:D...) and, also how is written in the Doawikia.com:
  • Gameplay-wise, he bears a stripped-down version of Hayate's moveset, but boasts a few unique strings that previously were exclusive to Hayate in Dead or Alive 3.
  • Yosuke Hayashi revealed that, because of how lethal and hard Shiden's skills were, he was given the nickname "Raijin; the God of Thunder."
Here the move set of Hayate and Shiden from Doa Dimensions: http://www.gamefaqs.com/3ds/997816-dead-or-alive-dimensions/faqs/62576

Shiden is not exactly a clone of Hayate, but anyway is not wrong consider him a variation (like Leon for Bayman in his first apparition in Doa2):

See. Not much of a difference. He basically Hayate. Nothing stands out about him. He even folds his arms like Hayate.

Considering the possible space for more slots on that character select, I don't rule that idea out because even in that interview by werewolfgold Hayashi still did not out right disconfirm Ein, the other guy said "no Ein, and no Leon" and it doesn't matter that it was said first or last, Hayashi did not say that whatsoever-no indication of quotes etc etc. I definitely do not have my hopes up at all, but I'll just have to wait and see. Regardless, I'd wish they have MORE brand new characters at least 4.
Wait. I didn't interview anybody... o_O

Well I think that for people used to play with VF, Akira, Sarah (and eventually Pai) appear less new than Nicole/Spartan 458 - also if the presence of the holds make surely very different the way to play with them

Not having ever played with VF (if not with the demo of VF5:FS) in my case there are surely new characters! ;)

My only complain and that, not being part of the "Doa family", they aren't part of the sure roster for the future episodes of the series, (yes, I know that Ein, Leon and Bankotsubo says me "Hi!" in this moment...)

im more annoyed that the vf characters they chose have a similiar fighting styles to what we already have from the DOA characters in the game. im sure they cut ein and leon for the reason of having "similar" alternatives but then they add akira and sarah who too have "similar" alternatives. I would've prefered goh, lion lei fei, eileen etc since no one in DOA uses those styles where kokoro is akira with tits and a kimono while rig is sarah with a penis and tattoos(before anyone cries about "but but dey play nothing alike"...same goes for leon/bayman and ein/hitomi and yet every nitwit in existence claims they do so its now my turnt to ignorantly make baseless claims  )

Lei-Fei and Goh certainly would have been the most unique choices but it's all about that poster girl/poster boy. They'll get their shine whenever VF x DOA rolls around*.

*I'm assuming (hoping!) this will happen since going by past cycles VF6 is at least another year away from arcade release and another 3-5 away from console and DOA6 would probably be another 3 years off as well. VF x DOA could make a nice launch/early title for the next gen systems. But I am pulling this right out of my ass.

Hitomi and Ein share the same moveset for the most part. Although it would have been nice if Hitomi got some of his unique ones. You can kind of make that argument for Leon and Bayman in DOA4, I believe Leon was going to make it in, but got canned due to time restraints. Since data was there for him, just nothing like the rest.

They could have simply grabbed some of Jean's moves and give them to Ein to change his style completely from Hitomi.

Lion is who I like in VF. But, I would love Lei Fei and his Shaolin monk type (whatever its called) style. Its on the list of what DOA is missing, IMO. Along, with Takas Sumo style.
