I wonder how many people are going to cancel their preorders out of frustration over this. It wouldn't be as big of a deal if they themselves didn't make it such a big one.

I did. There's no use buying the expensive Deluxe Edition with Kingsglaive when I will very likely have seen Kingsglaive already when the game finally arrives. I will now get the regular game edition at launch.

By the way, the first 12 minutes of Kingsglaive are presented by IGN on Youtube already:

The English voice acting imo sucks apart from the celebrity main cast. And even they are not as great as you would think. Shows that actors ≠ good voice actors.

i never did pre-order and now i won't for sure. not because im upset, but because i finally saw footage of the Muramasa and its nothing special. that was the only reason i was even considering it before. now ill just wait for the reviews.

Apart from the voice acting and some rough editing I agree. This is a true fantasy epic and the premise around Regis, Noctis, Luna and the Niflheim Empire is pretty intriguing. I think the game will have a good story and some great characters.

Ah I kinda wanted the artbook, however I was actually going to cancel my pre-order in a bit and just going for the regular copy. A bit skeptical with FFXV at the moment but still getting it of course.

the reason that was given that they wanted to include the day one patch to add more content for the people without internet, but personally I highly doubt that's the reason. after all this hype they wouldn't delay it two months if it wasn't something extremely important. they might have ran into a game breaking glitch making the patch literally required no.

Alright guys...here we have the first hour of Final Fantasy XV!
It is the gameplay video that Tabata has promised to show us after the delay disappointment and that is also playable as a demo on Gamescom from tomorrow on. It is the PS4 version.

Okay, since no one is saying anything, I'll shamelessly double post after watching the whole thing. It is a bit spoilerish...but some of the most important scenes are skipped/cut. Most traveling from one place to the other is also skipped. A bit much skipping actually...
Here some of my observations:

- The opening was strange and ended abrupt.
- Game can look graphically pretty nice but also pretty shitty at times. (Witcher 3 looks imo way better.)
- The game looks considerably better on PS4. PS4 Dusace looks the exact same with a bit more vegetation than in Duscae Demo, the Xbone version looked really scarce in vegetation. Also low resolution textures... :/
- There are a lot of different outfits and it seems as if they are fully customizable with accessories and even in color. (Noctis wore a golfer outfit, lol and Gladio wore a biker jacket...:3)
- You can color your chocobos and have races with them.
- NPCs look imo horrid. D:
- Iris as well as Cor will be team members.
- I knew Iris was going to have a crush on Noctis...
- The sidequesting feels exactly like in Lightning Returns... :/
- Combat is greatly enhanced and deepened from Duscae and Platinum Demo.
- There is again a sphere grid.
- Stylish, overall very good looking menus.
- The voice acting is imo fine. Really not as bad as I thought. But many will probably dislike all their chatter. I'm hardened by Xenoblade Chronicles. XD
- Ignis doesn't call Noctis "Your Highness" anymore but Noct and Noctis doesn't grunt like Batman anymore.

I'll update this list...but these are the things that came to my mind first after watching the video.

Wow, all those side quests right at the start of the game, I like hunts xD
I didn't expect to have the possibility to change outfits just after the start of the game, or to have in-game costumes in the first place, though I will most likely stick with the defaults, cause the casual ones are atrocious imo.
The way your learn skills is similar to FFX's Sphere grid / FFXIII's Crystarium, or even more to Tales of Xillia's Lilium Orbs, it's a positive thing to me 'cause I liked them.
Don't know how to feel about that magic thing.
Also... Iris as a guest character (even though it seems she won't be able to fight)

I watched the video(skipped the cutscenes for obvious reasons), things I like:

• Dialogue trees(or rather options)
• The gameplay looks like they take the best of Duscae and Platinum and mashed them together thank GOD perfect parrying is back
• Iris is cute :3 her voice is also REALLY familiar, cant tell who it is though
• Cindy so hawt....
• Gladios butt
• The hunts mechanic is similar to Xillia 2s jobs
• Looks like they took a note from P3 FES where Noct can use everyone's weapons.

FFXV is looking promising, im not hyped but I'm a lot more interested in playing come 29th November

I actually really like some of the other outfits! I think I might change the characters into them when I play. And yeah she's moving around a lot there! XD I haven't seen the video but from what I've seen it looks good.

I like the new Noctis outfit, he looks like a baseball player or is that what he's supposed to be? And Iris is ugly, gross. Luna for the win, she's the best girl in the game and I ship her and Noctis.
