...I'd guess skins probably just aren't too high on their priority list, considering the other content they've added.

What IS their priority list? Its not like this game has other content to focus on.

I guess I'm just comparing too much to Battleborn. Steady stream of characters skins taunts and a story mode with constant balancing etc etc. For all the hype I was at least expectinf more skins to unlock by now in overwatch.

I do like the punk outfit for zarya though. I think that's new at least.

They're all cosmetic. If you're about to argue that somehow costumes are objectively "better" rewards than the others are, you may want to rethink your approach. I'm very interested in collecting gold weapons, myself.

Well you usually sound stupid but that's not the point XD.

I bring up costumes specifically because they are the only noticeable unlock. Voice clips are barely audible in gameplay and who has the time to bring up radial menu for it it taunts (which enemy won't see anyone so no reason to ever do it) And character select animation is also barely seen you just pick your character and load into the game.

Also I thought you were implying that there was more content I was missing somehow lol.

Anyways while its not something I can play for hours at a time I did have fun while it was free and look forward to whenever I can find it for lower price.


BTW after getting the hang of Zarya's charge buff I realize she's a goddamn juggernaut so consider me a Zarya main lol.

Meh, Mercy with a 3+ Rez right now gets pretty much all PotGs. Kinda dull to watch compared to when I Nano Boost a Rein who gets 4 kills, Sleep a Mercy who gets destroyed very soon after, and finish off an escaping Lucio in a single Highlight as Ana for my personal highlight where I have teammates who do the Zarya/Hanzo combo or a 5 man High Noon ult as a point defense. And it happens almost every game I've played in the past week.

Victory poses aren't highlight intros, but even putting that aside pretty much every character save Ana or Widowmaker has the potential to get the POTG.

Like XZero said, as a Mercy main after the latest patch I'm getting POTG in about half the matches I play. Sometimes it feels warranted (4+ rez). Other times, not so much (2 rez and then shooting the enemy Mercy in the face).

Now that said what the hell actually dictates a play of the game? I was getting 20+ kill streaks with zarya never dying generally decimating and still never got it

Accumulating a high number of points within the span of a few seconds. For example, killing multiple enemies, healing a very large amount of damage, resurrecting multiple allies... The fact that it has to be in such a short amount of time is likely why you never got it.

Keep at it. Eventually they'll show your entire 20+ kill streak as the POTG.

A fully charged Zarya can hold down a choke point. With someone watching your back you become a bouncer at the club.

Btw I recommend you guys check out the YouTube channel Your Overwatch. A lot of good info and guides and they upload at least one new video pretty much every day. Smart guys that are able to make you rethink how you use characters.

They also said the next one will have the other cast members who didn't get new costumes in this year's set.

So yeah, it's not a yearly event. Now, of course they may release new costumes next summer but it won't be the same ones.

No they said it will be yearly, not like the real olympics. Yes they will add new stuff, but the old stuff will also be available again.
