So I'm not entirely sure how you get AP since I've been avoiding a lot of the game play? Do you get like 5 for one enemy and 10 or another or something and then you can use them to get abilities?

Yes, you earn them depending on how well you did in a fight (you are judged like in FFXIII after each fight), you get them awarded for completing quests, for choosing the right answers when consulting your friends, you also gain them from activities like chocobo races, from riding the car for a long time and exploring more of the map. The thing is, you don't get the same amount for every character but you have to allocate them on all four characters, which I find great. You really have to think wisely about the AP you invest and some abilities are really expensive. You won't be able to get them all unless you grind like crazy for hundreds of hours. They explained that they want each player to have a party with completely different strengths/weaknesses and abilities.

Okay good that seems like a good way for levels and experience to work, I still a not sure about the having to sleep first thing but it seems good right now. And yeah in X I liked the making sure every character got experience and stuff so I'll fine okay with having to choose to allocate experience to people. I'll be grinding when I get to areas anyway to get stronger and also just exploring and doing side quests.

About the stream:
- The Twitch streamers played awful (and were annoying)
- The game looked really good and it was actually the Xbone version
- The gave away really cool handcrafted Xbone consoles in XV design

That's cool that they did that but yeah I couldn't watch the lag was that bad that It was every 2 seconds. I'd of liked to of watched but twitch is so bad for me.

I instead decided to watch a final fantasy X let's play. I'm also checking out a ff forum.

The gameplay, different regions and monsters they showed were actually really cool but those annoying, good for nothing Twitch streamers... Who watches these guys, seriously? XD They aren't even very charismatic or funny.

There's not really much streamers I watch it's more for conferences that I watch it. I don't understand why people pick the least experienced people to play the game?

Because Square Enix believes them to be popular and relatable to sell the game to their watchers. That's why they also got the FFXV design Xboxes as a give away for their watchers at the end of the stream.
I mean, you can be a bad player but still be charismatic, funny and engaging, like Hollie from PS Access. These two guys were however just... D:

The Xbox One version looked really good. They weren't lying when they said they were improving the graphics till the very end. But Tabata has always been (painfully) candid to fans regarding the graphics and performance of the game. I know no other game that they released such shitty in-development pictures for all the time and completely refrained from using bullshots. Even the trailer footage was often a jaggy, blurry mess. And for no other games did they keep us updated about the for a long time unstable framerate.
I'm again unsure of getting the Pro, even more so if it is true that they will only bump up the resolution for it and nothing more.

If that's the xbox one version then they've definitely upgraded which is amazing, Also off graphics for a second but I'm liking the new look for the mandrake's from those's earlier videos, ( The streamers didn't even know what they were ) They aren't as cute anymore but they look nice.

I was able to watch the stream just now, the Xbox One version really looks better! I'm happy I won't be playing a "shitty" version xD
And that Death spell looks cool, I like how it modifies the enemy's model, but it also seems broken as hell.... D:
