I don't want a DOA action game, port Kasumi and Hayate over to NG, give us some co-op, throw in some cameos from the other DOA cast and call it a day.
Heck you can throw in some shooting mechanics and make Christie and Bayman playable if you want to go the extra mile, they're assassins anyway.

Logically it can only be 1 or 2. Considering there's 20 pages left. I'm thinking people already seen this site which says 24 characters in the Strategy Guide, but since this is old still makes me wonder. Lots of wonders going on... for instance did they replace Pai and decided to keep Leon in? Or simply scrapped Leon for Pai (Teamninja said 2 Virtua Fighters are enough), or can there be 1 more character as an unlockable who is kept secret (Leon)? Did they scrapped Pai for Momiji?? Is Alpha 152 alternate Kasumi Alpha and she has her own swim suit...?? Well here's the Japanese site (use google translate to translate it):

To assume the worst, it could be ONLY 23 characters which means no Pai and no Leon, so all we may have is Mila, and Gen Fu, and maybe Ryo which he would equal 24 characters.

Nice, haven't seen that. The description makes it pretty clear there's 24 characters and exactly 12 are girls. They say there's a gravure section dedicated to each one, so you know what that means. Alpha 152 in a bikini! Or maybe we finally got a confirmation of Pai.

Trust me, they will NEVER put Kasumi Alpha in ever again. They would bascially be going back to before she became Alpha-152... which would defeat the whole entire purpose....
