Hmm. Well, then I'm not sure how the roster screen will be organized. Oh, well. It's just 17 more days until we find out. I'm getting the guide too, so I'll immediately know how to unlock Akira, Sarah, and Alpha, as well as Pai, if she's even in before I even start playing.

Yes, MC Hammer is confirmed. Beyond that I haven't said anything about who's in or out. Although I think a lot of you guys are worrying over nothing... which will continue to happen until someone gets a retail copy (or the guide) and actually unlocks all of the characters.

It would make much more sense if the three locked spaces were dedicated to the VF characters - Sarah, Akira, Pai - and respectively these spots would be under Tina, Kokoro and Gen Fu (I guess).
Then you would have a stupid manipulation to play as Alpha like with Shiden in DOAD.
Oh guys, anyway, sorry for all these stupid posts/theories/conspiracies, it's just that I would be really sad if they had decided to cut Pai at the very last moment, for some reason. Well, let's wait for 9/11.
In the meanwhile, as a French 'pignouf' without any culture, and with all these intriguing posts about that mysterious singer, it's my duty to read the related wikipedia page about MC Hammer.

It just occurred to me that DrDogg had said that he'd post an unofficial tier list on launch day for us to use as a reference point. Obviously that list will include every character in the game. Seeing Ein, Leon, Tengu, Genra, Raidou, Shiden, Momiji, Rachel, Luigi, Mewtwo, Godzilla, Richard Simmons, Tom Waits, Daffy Duck, et cetera being absent from that list would hopefully shut people up about it, but we should still expect this debate to continue for at least a short while after release anyway, I guess.

All I'm saying is that MC Hammer is the greatest unlockable of all time. Up there with Michael Jackson in Battle Arena Toshinden 3.
Where was Gen Fu on the character select screen?

1. It's not Gozilla, it's one of the new monsters from the Pacific Rim movie.
2. Daffy Duck was replaced last minute by Duck Dodgers. But I'm told if you told select when you choose your character you get unmasked Duck Dodgers who is rumored to be Daffy Duck... or The Rock.
