So many costumes with/without a jacket (Mila, Kokoro, Lisa, Hitomi...). Nice.

Helena looks beautiful on that cutscene.

I couldn't agree more with their thoughts on TKD.

Didn't notice much worth noting in this video, other than there's a shot on the computer screen at some point showing jann lee with his back turned, holding nunchaku. Likely something to do with story mode.

Although this is old info, the scene where kokoro is standing around in that brightly lit part of tokyo seems so wide and detailed that I wouldn't be surprised if it was a stage. TN seems to have made a lot of environments this time around, it would be a shame if at least a few of them weren't utilized as actual stages.

On a side note, there were a lot of bugs in the august build of the DOA5 promotion demo, and I really hope they have those ironed out. Aside from the really interesting one where Rikuto's Bayman totally broke a Brad Wong, there's weird ones like Hayabusa going for a flying swallow throw (during the leaping mid-air portion of the animation) and getting hit out of it, only to immediately become counter-hit stunned into a standing position behind the opponent.
Edit: Found a video showing this off. @ 0:47

That's the bottom part of Scramble before the explosion.

That one I was told was fixed. It wasn't just Bayman vs Wong. It was if you did a jab or jab-strong to an opponent who was in back-turned state and at high threshold.

Yeah, but that area where she was standing is blocked off when the characters are down there.
Looks like the Lobby stage was shown with Helena talking to Hayate.
Yes, there's still two more levels that haven't been shown yet. Lobby and Laboratory.
Edit: Lobby and Arrival might be the same stage. If not then we have 3 more to go.

Famitsu gave DOA5 9/9/9/9 review ... This is the same score they gave to Ninja Gaiden 3.

That video didn't say anything new about the online at all... Oh well, one more week!

And yes, Famitsu has been getting paid off for years now. For some reason though non-Japanese sites seem to report their scores as if they still mean something lol

Famitsu is corrupt as hell and has been so for years, selling reviews for ad dollars. Maybe a time during the n64/ps1 era they were credible, but that has long since passed.

I won't argue against Famitsu's corruptness or lack thereof, but in fairness we also have to keep in mind the cultural differences and preferences. The perception of what's good and what isn't changes from one place to another. There are many games released in Japan to much popularity that would never be acknowledged here. Same goes for some of our popular titles. They like games we'd hate and vice versa. Fighting games happen to be a genre where the line between cultural preference is blurred a lot more than others.
