I would say that this is the equivalent of Metroid Prime's Remake... NGIIB doesn't add anything new or relevant, but it certainly does look really, really nice. That being said it could use an optimization patch on Steam, but DLSS saves the day with it no doubt. Soon that field will be an even greener pasture, so I expect the game to look even better soon.

Here are the downsides to the game:

- Lots of missing outfits when you take into account all of the different version, it seems like they would all be available given that they are using the Black name marketing or not.
- The online cooperative mode continues to be unavailable.
- Master Collection modes such as NINJA Race are missing.
- People are begging for the 360 content, and gameplay reminiscent to that version of the game. We got Sigma 2, but once again it does look nice, and it plays smoothly.

Team NINJA needs to consider updating the game. Readding at least some of the additional content that went missing, and now is their chance to do something cool with the game given Microsoft's inclusion; it may be on Game Pass forever. NINJA Gaiden 4 is a Microsoft published game so it will be on Game Pass forever. That's really cool.

Hopefully they add a photo mode for better combat photography with February's big update!

You may not even need that, there should be an Unreal Engine unlocker camera free cam you can download by Otis, Assuming the one I use for tekken 8 pics works for that since they both use the same engine

Hmmmm. I don’t know much about that, I still hope they add one.

Maybe they will add some more gameplay features as well; such as coop or more missions.

I'm thinking with that model of Kasumi that she enters the NGIIB experience. No way they would have done all that for nothing.
I wouldnt be surprised if they'll wind up having some dlc content down the line. Idk how they'll do it since I'm sure they reused clips from the OG game unless they just make Kasumi a scenario on her own that doesn't require the others to talk or speak, I can see them doing something with Momiji since Kate Higgins is still pretty active but idk about Rachel since Tara hasn't voiced her since the OG game since she was replaced in 5U.

Ninja Gaiden is not as easy as I thought it'd be xD it kinda reminds me of nioh 2 a bit with how unforgiving some of the enemies are, and the wall run into jump to the next one was tricky too. I think I'm finally getting into the flow of knowing when to attack ang strike since NG kinda reminds me of a fighting game where you have to be careful and wait your turn to strike. And the fact it doesn't have a lock on feature is kinda odd but I think the ninja way feature where it directs you where you need to go for the rest of the stage works well as a sub to that for locking on enemies

The boss fights are pretty straightforward but the roughest ones so far was Alexei and the tengu brothers. The tengu brothers i couldn't beat until i realized I could lure them in that closed door nook and stun lock one into low health and ninpo. I'm so relieved I could beat them since I only had one healing item and one devil mushroom for ninpo since the game doesn't let you go back past your last checkpoint save xD

NGB is even harder, but you are doing your best and NG2 is a great place to start for new players.

Once you start using the Eclipse Scythe you will see a change in power. Also, don’t sleep on projectiles such as Ryu’s bow or Rachel’s machine gun. They are extremely powerful.

Realizing how much I hated the ghost fish in the capital stage, I hate how they attack you at literally the worst places that can make you fall xD

The Aqua Capital is one my least favorite stages. Platforming on that level can really ruin a speedrun. I tend to use the Dragon Sword's Flying Swallow to navigate it.

Yeah I abuse flying swallow when I can since it's pretty easy to use and you can get relatively untouched if you use it in the bigger enemy cluster like on the castle stage with those beasts. I think I'm at final boss but I haven't went yet, I saved and will go back later to play since the game is slowly becoming more darkly horrific which I like xD I love when I'm afraid to walk down the corridors and the unseen enemies are just waiting like the ghost fish in that treasure chest I had opened. Stuff like that is pretty innovative imo

I'm currently playing on Acolyte and am having a fair time with it to be honest I only really struggle with bosses that I'm not sure what to do with immediately, I almost picked Hero Mode just to play the Story but I'm actually glad I didn't now as it's not as hard as I was expecting at all.

Also for what it's worth NG2B is based on Sigma 2 where difficulty is quite nerfed from NG2 Vanilla, NG2 Vanilla I never made it past chapter 4 on Acolyte lmao

I also wanna say fuck those cyborg fiends they are my bane

I'm doing normal and then hard once I complete it. The bosses are usually hard at first but then you start to realize what they struggle in. I think my favorite boss fights so far were Momiji's since I loved the 2 on one thing and then figuring out how I could break them in the hidden door nook one at a time. XD

I also loved the Alexei boss fight since his was brutal and aggressive the whole time, and i couldn't even use ninpos on him. The other ones are shocking as far as their designs but the staff weapon and the level 3 ninpo make those easy to beat with minimal reason to use the rebirth talisman 9r any health items
