Seriously though, I'm surprised they responded to the complaints, let alone decided to adjust things.
Also, if Tekken is gonna follow DOA with tag mode, will they follow DOA with "ball mode"? XD

Yes it is actually, I only use costume mods, not face mods.
Her face is that way since its her resting face/neutral face in her opening intro where she whips out and strokes her bazooka, its just not seen since the angle shows her chest rather than her face so the game devs I assume didn't feel the need to enable her emotions until she actually had her face in the shot officially. You'd just have to have a camera tool like i do so you can manually move the camera, it'll let you see alot of expressions and specific poses you wouldn't normally see. Also lighting from different stages can honestly make characters look somewhat different, its why im very selective on what stages I take pics in since some don't have lighting that's euphoric/dark enough for me
You'd be surprised at how hidden angles obscure how the face looks really, this is Anna in her official "Let's play again sometime." win pose if you move the camera just before the scene changes to her more darker finishing expression(I hate this pic so much i never posted the full one on X:
Sorry for the mini rant, I dislike being implied to be called a liar or misinformed when im more familiar with the subject in regards to Anna and Lili since im very familiar with both of them and their expressions/voice lines xD

i really like her so far, she's like a venus vacation girl almost... i love the sports preset she has, especially since it accentuates her bust nicely imo without having to show all the goods. Her hairstyle is just as good as Lili's, and i love her height and stature since I love short girls in fighting games♡.♡
HOPING her ease of use is manageable so I can sub her, the only thing about tekken and simple characters is that if you're used to a certain easy kit already like Lili and Anna's, it can make picking up other characters with more varied strings somewhat tricky for me but ill do what I need to to make sure I can play her xD

I see more a venus vacation character tbh mixed in with the weapon sub style the devs have been kinda adding to characters who could use it like Anna. I feel she's gonna be new skillgate character to usurp Anna since they had to remove stuff and assign old attacks to open slots for her to be easier to use. With Miary, im sure they're gonna make her kit super easy from the start.
I like the wall attack thing she has, it reminds me of Kasumi's 7P since it's a useful tool but can only be used in stages with that specific wall property. With Zo she's basically gonna have access to it on all stages. I also love the subtle way they make her use her spear as a pole during certain animations, it gives me flashbacks to Jade in MK9 when she'd work her pole when she'd emerge victorious xD

Some ultrawide images. Someone gifted me Tekken 8 from a sale. I'm not entirely sure if I'll play the game, but I did felt bad since he mentioned I helped him with DOA for many years and wanted to provide me with a present.
1) It's mostly commitment.
2) I don't think I'll be able to catch up in the learning process with my gaming library and IRL stuff all over the place. Tekken takes a long ass time to grind.
3) It's basically starting over and involving myself with a new community.
4) Honestly if I had a legitimate reason to play this game, is probably with friends or something instead of the solo grind I did years ago with DOA. I don't really know anyone on a genuine close level to grind this game with someone so it's another reason why.
I'm on a RTX 5090 on a Ultrawide 21:9 and I completely forgot T8 supports it. Even the main menu and character select screen is UW supported. Figured I drop some screenshots on how it looks I guess. Reina is really cool though so it's clear you can see my bias here.

She's legit my favorite designed Tekken character yeah ahaha, I think she's cool. I never played Tekken 8 (until now that is), but If I had a reason to play Tekken it would be for her. She's also voiced by the same person that did Nobara in JJK, and the personality is roughly the same between the two characters.
Kinda wish the character started in DOA LOL because I already put years of time in DOA and I can't picture myself shuffling between VF, DOA, and Tekken at the same time while playing FF14. That's way too much and i'm not as committed as I used to be, so a game like Tekken is a game I won't catch up on playing field when I dedicated far too much on others (especially FFXIV).
Tbh I can see her being a DOA guest if they ever collab in a FG since Reina would be the go to rival against Ayane since they both give me that same vibe xD Reina tho i think is pretty easy to pick up and play since her kit is pretty straightforward, Anna tho I think has the easiest kit to master in Tekkeb 8 tho since she's really easy to get into ^.^

I'd rather want Kazuya, Nina, Paul, and Law as guest fighters for a new DOA game. They fit for the echo of when the Virtua Fighters used to be guests in DOA5.
Tbh I'd want Lili or Anna as a guest rep tbh, I feel Anna would fit perfectly since shes everything DOA embraces with the sex appeal and good looks and her T8 strings could easily be worked into DOA since her strings are similar to Kasumi tbh with the high to lows and even her having a similar stance to Kasumi's hoshinpo^.^I'd rather want Kazuya, Nina, Paul, and Law as guest fighters for a new DOA game.
