Her first change is interesting, i dont see how it could be a jump hold now, it definitely looks like a mid kick. Her second change, i dont really understand.

Thanx for the link i was wondering what the patch actually changed. It seems they haven't done anything major about the online mode yet, hopefully they will in the near future.

Its a buff(at least compared to the DOA4 version). it left him at disadvantage on block before, dunno how it was in DOA5 pre-patch though. either way no nerfs on him woooo!

So DOA5 is jacked up without the patch? So the balance change from the patch will make the gameplay better? I'm too afraid to download this patch. o_O My head hurts.

They need to address the online a little better.
Yeah i feel like they rushed this patch. Something so easily as fixing the language glitch wasnt even fixed. Anyone else have the issue where sometimes even though you put side step as 2 or 8HPK it still side steps when you go 22 or 88, this only happens randomly for me. Its really confusing though.

The properties of “K during Gyomi-Inshusei” and “K during Tenshin-Hiinshu” were different, so we standardized on the first (K during Gyomi-Inshusei).​

This patch was probably made in advance without other issues having made into it, and it also has to go through certification from MS and Sony right, which also takes time. Anyway i think it will be some time before the next patch rolls out.

Patches take time This patch was most likely finalized 2-3 weeks ago so that it could go through approval. Also, most of these changes are most likely based on feedback from the balance testers that didn't make the cut.
