Character weight classes

Anyone classified them yet?

I've just been using the following as a base for juggles
Feather: Kasumi
Light: Mila
Medium/welter: Zack
Heavy: Bass

My assumption is
Feather: Kasumi, Ayane, Eliot, Kokoroach,
Light: Mila, Lei Fang, Christie, Hitomi,
Medium/welter: All males minus Bass, Eliot and Bayman, Sarah, Tina
Heavy: Bass, Bayman

Here's how it's looking. It's broken up into 4 categories and then broken up even further for as some juggles require delays (often those that force get ups). Note, I haven't unlocked Kasumi Alpha.

Those listed together are equal in their category and lightest of the category is at top while the heavier they are in the category they are listed further down.

They are based on Brad Wong and Lisa Juggles.

Feathers:
Kasumi
Pai

Kokoroach
Ayane

It became painfully relevant, so I did some testing...
Explanations are at the bottom.

Update:
Helena was patched and is vulnerable to Mila's mid weight juggles.

Feather
Ayane

Kasumi

Pai
Sarah
Kokoro
Hitomi
Lei Fang
Mila
Eliot

Middle
Tina
Christie
Lisa
Jann Lee
Hayate
Akira
Zack
Ryu Hayabusa
Rig
Helena
Brad Wong

Lower-Mid
Gen Fu

Heavy
Bayman
Bass

Explanations:
-Hayabusa's 41236H+P~236P~4K~K~41236H+P will miss the entire Feather class with the 4K if it isn't delayed
-The Feather class will deny mount on 15ct P+K bounce due to distance on 6P~P+K juggle and weight on a P6P~P+K juggle, only Ayane is fully vulnerable to the P6P~P+K juggle
-Ayane and Kasumi occasionally float too high during Mila's P6PP~P+K juggle and deny the mount
-Middle class had no abnormalities during tested juggles
-Mila's P6PP~P+K juggle could not be performed reliably on Gen Fu
-No difference in tested juggles between the heavies, Bass and Bayman shared a 50% inconsistency rate with Mila's 6P+K~33P~PPPP juggle

Is there a tested list anywhere or do the weights make sense in this one? I would assume something like most girls and Eliot = light, most guys and Helena = medium, Bass/Bayman = heavy.

Your list is in this thread. Right on page 3 in the DOA5 forums.

I think it's really just three: light, mid and heavy. This game isn't like VF5FS where one Aoi combo might work on Eileen and Pai but not on Aoi herself even though the three are considered "lights".

It depends on how weight sensitive your juggles are, but I imagine the vast majority of the cast will only have to worry about the 3 you mentioned, as there is very little difference in the middle and lower-mid classes and I'm pretty much convinced Bass only gives the illusion of being heavier than Bayman since he's huge and looks like he'll touch down sooner(though I've been too lazy to make a concrete test on this and edit).

I used Hayabusa for the initial break-down since I was aware of a feather/heavy-flawed juggle for him(perfect 3-category separation), but details such as the lower-mid class and in-class separations are primarily based on Mila's weight sensitive P+K-mount juggles because I needed the data to spend a few days creating an ugly pile of stun/juggle/pickup reference notes that would burn the eyes of most mortals with but a glance.

At any rate, yes, as bare bones, there are only 3 real significant weight classes. Though I'd have to strongly disagree that each character of that class is the exact same weight(not that they're all different). Other weight sensitive character juggles may find their subtle flaws on different characters than the ones mine happened upon.
(assuming there are others that sensitive... *shrugs*)

Tested and edited the Heavy class and their explanation.

I'd rather not mention the other test, as it suggests Bayman is a fragment heavier than Bass, and that logic warps time and space... like going to Pizza Hut and finding out they only serve burgers and fries... still recovering from the mental damage.
