Custom Music? What do you guys think?

Yea a custom soundtrack feature would be great but i really doubt that feature is going to be implemented. Id love to be wrong though and see it implemented with the next patch. Id love to hear my own music while playing this game and hearing all of the sound effects. Its really an inconvenience having to turn on two electronic devices to just listen to music and on top of that im not trying to spend extra on my electricity bill.

Yeah, it's reached that part for me too. I like the song, but hearing it in the Online Menu where I'm at most of the game every time is really starting to grind my gears. Especially since it takes forever to get a ranked fight DX

They should have the option to choose the bgm when choosing stages like Soul Calibur V. The soundtrack is decent in this game and the music goes with the stages but they don't have the old DOA theme feel like they used to. I kind of missed those. And I hated how they played the themes in the story mode as a teaser and you can't even play them in other modes. Team Ninja keep on trollin'.

I know. When Bayman's DOA3 theme cued up I jizzed my pants. Then, in a flash, it was over.

360 users can play custom sound for any game by hitting the guide button and selecting the music player.

Keep in mind it only mutes the game music audio not sound effects, and whatever playlist you use will just keep playing. Meaning it's not stage/scene specific ala TTT2 and certain titles interrupt playback during cinema sequences which are game specific

I only own a PS3 so i would really welcome this. I tend to listen to music while playing DoA5 anyway as it seems to somehow help me win, not only that but the default music is just really bad.

That "Gotta Move On" theme in the Sweat stage is burned into my mind now.

I always seem to lose to Zack in that stage too

This is why I just play the previous DOA soundtracks through custom music on 360. DOA5's music sucks. Got the OST with the collectors edition, and there was NOTHING good.

Get the DOA3 soundtrack. Then either burn it to a cd then burn it to 360, or play it straight from a usb device.

I initially wanted custom ost, but after playing the game for a while, the music is not bad. It's sort of just ambient music, really, and it doesn't get on my nerves like the other DOA osts.

Personally, it'd be nice to have an option for character specific themes, but i prefer to have stage themes since you're stuck listening to the same songs if you play the same characters frequently, regardless of what stage you go to.
