I just watched a match between Mamba and Master on TN facebook page. Who was the commentator who was constantly moaning about Helena, saying Busa was low tier and also commented on stuff being "broken"? I'm just curious cause it was annoying as hell.
How much you wanna bet I can rape you with Helena, after flatly refusing to use her for 12 years?
Because with this tech, I can. And that shouldn't be possible.
The only reason Manny came back at all is because Mamba started choking and opening with the same stuff over and over again.
Rewatched the finals just now.
Can we make a recommendation not to have this Rikuto guy not to commentate anymore?
Not only was his crying annoying as hell, it was pointless. Considering the fact that everyone in the room (who were kind of quiet through a majority of the tournament) were getting actually getting hype he missed a really great opportunity to promote DOA5 as a respectable fighting game. And then the other guy was just sitting there cosigning EVERYTHING Rikuto said. On Marvel when you see them long ass close to death combos the commentators raise their voice and shit and push the hype even further! The commentators are meant to escalate the fights and to push the appeal of the game to outside players. Rikuto did a TERRIBLE job.
And it's not even a bias thing because I do play with Helena, it's the fact that even throughout all the fire that was blazing from the matches, Rikuto kept pouring his watered down complaints on the match. "Oh look, another combo? Where's my force tech? Oh.. no force tech. She's still broken."
I'm not going to hype any match I think is dumb, and I told everyone it was a dumb match before it started. You get what you pay for, which is nothing. I was also strong armed into doing the commentary crap to begin with, so you really think I felt like being there? Think again.
I give honest commentary, not some overly hyped bullshit. If something is dumb, I will expose it as dumb.
Also Marvel is a shitty broken game of dice, it requires over-the-top commentary to be entertaining on any level.
