How is everybody enjoying the game so far?

UMVC3 was alot of fun until i looked at the bigger picture...i started to see it as a battle to get the first poke and maintain your combo because as you know there are alot of massive damge combos and infinites so imo its like whoever gets first poke wins.not only that but that x factor is straight stupid...it honestly rewards the loser waaaqy too much. like if you have strider as your anchor and you are good with him ANNND you have level 3 x factor you will most likely destroy your opponents 2 or 3 characters easily.at least doa5's comeback factor requires a combo or nice timing but still doa has its "ima reward the loser" feel with its hold...but this is all my opinion just giving my 2 cents lol
X-Factor is stupid, but at least you can run away, etc. Holds are just always there and completely kill everything.

I love DOA 5. The best part is that a lot of the old school players from DOA Ultimate and DOA 4 are playing. I am also glad this game has a growing community with great new competition.

Almost everything is better than Ca$hcom crap (exclude SFIII 3rd Strike) but TvsC isn't available for PS3... or is it? I'd really like to try it.

Amen to this. The SF3 installments were masterpieces. Then SFIV came out, and everything went downhill from there. I regret shelling out $100 for MvC3, THEN UMvC3. At least I've managed to build a decent Iron Fist before dropping the game and its retarded mechanics. Given how SFxT came out, I dread the impending future of an easy mode Darkstalkers 4 with comeback features <_<;

Game only had 2 characters and it killed the core of SF, which was match up based. Masterpiece, haha.

He was pointing out that Ken and Chun Li aren't the only viable characters. Akuma is also extremely good, as is Dudley and honestly quite a few others. SF3 and the rest in that series definitely killed off fighting games for a while, but it wasn't because only two characters were viable.

Actually, the only character I literally didn't see any of in SF3... was Sean.

Holds are demons sent by the devil himself to torture the souls of fighting game fans.
No, that would be feelings of intimidation, fear, ostracism, and oppression.

All fair and equitable contributing factors to low turnouts in tournies. I should know. I have these emotions constantly and struggle with them to this day.
