I like the system changes, and Tina getting a side step throw. However, this is not enough. If they made atleast jabs guranteed after a stun, that would be a major improvement. Or simply reduce the amount of stunning attacks.

Couldn't agree more. I'm bored with DOA5 stages. I don't mind them, but I'm not blown away by any in particular months later. More variety is nice.
Would like the old DOA2H Danger Zone finishes (slow down and inverted colors ftw). In regards to stages for the newer games I have played (4, Dimensions, and 5) all those stages kinda disappointed me because they aren't as "loud" as the stages were in 2H (not sure if this is the case in Ultimate). By loud I mean you get knocked into the Danger Zone's wall it EXPLODED instead of exploding and electric fences DESTROYED you instead of shorting out a circuit.

If you plan to play online, like I am, might as well live with the changes that are coming (besides, when am I ever going to get the ability to care enough to unlock Alpha? The only time I liked her was when she was just an outfit color swap of Kasumi in 2). Not too thrilled with Mila's Tackle changes but I can live with it.

The stages in doa2-3 were all beautiful. I must say that even the "ugly" stages look better than the good ones in Doa5. Also, Doa4 had ugly ass stages too...thats when the down fall began.

Characters don't get nerfed. They get changed.

This happens every time a fighter gets patched.

"Oh no, my character got slightly tweaked so my routine has to be altered! THE HORROR!"

Now on the topic of the patch, what i'm mainly interested in is being able to upload saved screenshots and replays. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean much unless the actual Replays are patched so they yaknow...save actual replays. Or have they fixed that by now?

To be fair though, while DOA4 stages weren't as good as 2 or 3 stages...they still blew DOA5 stages clear out of the water. In previous games, I always had "favorite stages" I'd love to play on. In DOA5, though? I couldn't care less, none of them interest me, so I just hit "random".

Funny that you say that. There were a couple of stages I did love in both doa2 and doa3. Tn should just bring those stages back lol.

I think the stages are fine... They're not nearly as beautiful as DOA3's but they can definitely look as good as DOA4's if only they saturated the colors a little bit. All the stages and costumes look drab because of the "realistic" color scheme.

Left: DOA5 untouched, Right: DOA5 shooped

Amidst all the blandness, I do have a few favorite stages. Sakura, Flow, Street, Lab, and Depth (mainly for Alpha's theme). I'd choose one of The Show stages more if only the BGM weren't so laughable to fight to. And I'd fight in the Scramble stage more as well, but I find the music in the lower level of the stage pretty annoying to listen to. I'd even be more inclined to play in Fighting Entertainment, but I am absolutely not a fan of Tina's DoA4 theme at all. The movie quality music works for Story Mode, but I can't really fight to this game's soundtrack in any other mode outside of that. All the other stages are just snooze fests.

The right is far more appealing than the original. I'm in love with the character models, but the color choices made for the game (menus included) are sooooo boring <_<;

Here's a question. Why isn't that Bar a playable stage? That could of been fun.
You play outside of the bar (one of the oil facility stages, middle area with the ceiling). I haven't seen this myself but apparently at the right angle you can see Christie in it.

I hate that stage lol. That emcompasses everything I hate about DOA5 stages. Brown and boring.
