Leifang had pigtails in DOA3? Was it only in that one outfit? And yes, that Ayane outfit. <3 Training Dummy.

The coat makes Christie looks like a classy lady and I love women who dress classy :)

It also fit because it was accompanied by a video of her doing british spy cloak and dagger stuff, driving through an alley in london on a foggy night, then using pianowire to get somebody. That trenchcoat is so cloak and dagger, and I love that you can actually have the british spy/assassin LOOK like one. Well, used to be able to, anyway.

Quick query regarding the Hotties swimwear. I know with the past costumes I cannot see others using them, unless I also have them as the data is not on my system. Is this the same with the Hotties swimwear? I haven't purchased, so I can't see them. I thought as they were in with the patch and the data is on my system I could at least see others using them, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

The new bikini's are already in the patch. When I bought them they were already 100kb unlocks. You should be able to see them. Although I'm not 100% sure.

Not bought them myself as Christie and Tina just got re-colours rather than new outfits like the other girls, although I may cave in at some point in the future. So far I have not seen anyone using them, seen plenty showing up with multiple defaults. I just assumed that as the data is on my system from them being in the patch, I would at least be able to see others using them, same way you can see someone using a costume that's on the disc but one you haven't unlocked yet.

More speculating & wishful thinking from me: DoA5 stages tend to lack the color of previous DoA's imo & i would love to see what Team Ninja could do if they bought back these stages & applied some of that new tech & sheen to them.

African Savannah: Imagine this level redone for DoA5? Giraffes, hippos & rhinos dipped in water. The lions, the tigers, the bears...oh my ;) This was probably the most exciting level for me when playing the classic DOA's as there was always plenty of spectacle during the fight. Something was always happening around you; be it a vulture perching itself on a broken tree branch to observe the hiding you're giving (or the hiding you're receiving) or a random cheetah running across the screen knocking both fighters into the turf. I really miss these random wtf moments that sometimes altered the tides of the fights. (I remember winning a fight i didn't deserve because of that cheetah!).

The Great Wall of China: We need this back even if it's just so we can push Gen Fu down those long flight of stairs.

Rickety Rope Bridge: Although this looked already amazing in DoA4 (& we had a similar stage in DoA5 with the raft going across the river) I'd like something similar seen in DoA5 with the same type of panoramic scenic views that drops jaws on floors but with maybe a few more hazards thrown in for good measure. Not sure what exactly, maybe the bridge slowly giving way & becoming wobbly as the fight wears on, giving the fighter on the tilted side of the bridge a disadvantage?

There is plenty more i could list: The desert canyon stage, the glass-stained church, the Asian temple with the fire works display backdrop, the burning opera house, neon-lit city casino strip & the mountain-side temple (with the streaming waterfalls & fireflies depending on the day & night cycle). All with new bells & whistles added. Just the mere thought of this gives me goosebumps of false excitement.

& remember those Xmas outfits we got not long ago? Why not dedicate a stage to those with a Xmas theme? Similar to TTT2?

The thought of a Grinch Zack fighting a Santa Gen Fu or Elf Pai dodging snowballs been thrown at their faces makes me grin from ear to ear.

I know i am asking for too much here (way too much to be honest) but i am just thinking out loud & putting out ideas that would define my personal vision of a perfect DoA. Fantasizing aside, don't get me wrong i enjoy the arenas in DoA5 but they just seem to lack that glitz & glamor from before. The interaction is still spectacular to play in & spectate but they just seem a tad dreary compared to before, maybe it's due to the added realism with the characters (that no longer look like porcelain anime dolls) or maybe i am just getting long in the tooth. All in all, i really hope this shift in character appearance doesn't mean we have seen the last of some of these colorful outrageous stages from before. I hope they consider buffing up these arenas in a future DoA as i believe the new technology of consoles these days could really do them justice, & justice is what stages like these deserve imo.

Aye look i know all of us want our favorite costumes & stages back (some of the ideas & requests already listed in this thread are all brilliant) & i think most of us believe it's just not going to happen in a million moons at this point but I'm still going to lie down now & dream about this stuff regardless

When I first played DOA2 I was amazed by the brilliant art style and fighting against Jann Lee and listing to his music at the same time was unforgettable

The Ray House stage will have you pump, super hype and will go insane in a good way ;)
DOAURayHouse_1.jpg

The problem about is the lack of memorable presentation and that wow factor compared to the previous series. Apparently, nothing stands out on DOA5 unless TN brings back all these costumes & stages maybe DOA5 would had that wow factor again. We can only dream...

How hard is it to port these stages into DOA5 or would they have to remake and redesigned them to fit in with the new graphics?
