"Coming this fall" Sigh, so near the next gen consoles. its a pain cuz I want to buy a ps4, and it sounds like this wont be far off from the release of it.

Rig fought Christie first in that trailer, then Bass afterwards, though, so this logic is pretty good.It doesn't say anything about a new trailer in famitsu but what happened with DOA5 was famitsu would get a scoop, and within a week there'd be a new trailer... hence my earlier comment
Doesn't mean we'll see Momiji vs Leifang though. Rig's first screen was against Christie, his debut trailer was vs Bass
(Basically 2 new characters revealed at once is my bet)
I have a feeling that Ein, Leon & Tengu are returning but then when I think about it, I could be wrong, hope not. I'm very curious to see how many new stages we're getting and are the characters going to have their classic costumes this time around? (I still want Hitomi's denim costume damnit) We have to wait and see....for a long time.
Leon is confirmed. There's no mistaking that voice clip in the teaser. Ein and Tengu returning is just speculation, but very likely due to the fan outcries. Plus since TN gave themselves a year to work on this re-release, I'd imagine that a lot of time was/will be put into new characters and other content since the core game mechanics were already finished. Considering that Leon, Ein, and Tengu were apparently planned for the original release, it is highly likely that they will be among the new characters (with Leon already confirmed, of course).
It's also reasonable to believe that several old stages will be returning (or at least more new ones being added) since TN has to be aware by now that almost everyone hates the current stages and wants to see old ones return. High demand costumes like Hitomi's denim and Hayabusa's throwback are likely as well, but again, this is all speculation.

The music is the real problem.
DOA5 has the worst fighting soundtrack of all time. The stage music is bad enough but Chosen1s attempt at imitating a rapper is grating on the soul. Take that out asap.
I want selectable stage music a la tekken. If this is the ultimate version then I want everything they left out.
And I want zack to get a sabaki or an OH for Master Havik and them boys to be competitive.

Ein, Leon, Tengu, classic stages, some classic costumes plus BMG custom soundtracks will bring DOA5's dead presentation back to life and not to mention it will be on par with the previous series.
Lei Fang + Pigtails = DOA3 Ending costume confirmed!!! ^^ (or likely lol)

Bring back Raidou, Genra, (both sans projectiles) and Shinden.
Alpha Kasumi too.
Every character that's ever been in this shit should come back.
And, if possible, they should make the final boss from 5 a character and turn it into DOAs Lei Fei - almost everything he does would switch him into another ninja.

Oh cool. They really are listening to things players want. I know a few of my friends want Lei Fang to have her pony tails back. That new character looks like Sarah a little bit. I love the new stage. Reminds me of old times. Finally seems like they are going to get it right. I just hope and pray they keep the VF guests in. I don't think they'd take them out, but you never know. I can't wait to see what else they have in store for us.
