I forgot how vibrant doa2u stages were. I just loved how after the 1st or 2nd hit in stun resulted in an automatic knock down or launch. That need to come back asap.

-Danger zone was hot for Doa2, but now it would just feel like another boring doa5 stage....well i take that back, atleast it had pretty wall explosions that changed the lighting lol.

What exactly was so special about the 3.1 juggle system exactly? All I remember was seeing crazy infinite combos/ juggles/ like 90% juggles. I can see the appeal of that, but it sounds ridiculous. Unless you mean without the crazy bass or Ayane shit that I remember.

NOOO! No infinite combos, it just needs to be rebalance a little bit especially for online play.

One infinite with one character that works in only like three very specific places, yeah, that's "broken."

The juggles are no different in 3.1 than they are now (with the exception of slope relaunchers pretty much disappearing.) Most everyone still uses the same juggle they have used since DoA2 with some slight variances here and there.

What people are referring to is the difference in the stun system and how DoA4 and 5 over emphasize on the stun game.

DoA3.1 was the Japanese release of the game. DoA3.0, while still good, was a little rushed to release on time in the US for the launch of the original xbox. Unfortunately the US never got the updated version of the game.

interesting.... Half the forum people here have the japanese copy of DOA3.1? I now remember seeing a combo that i couldnt replicate and thought it couldnt be done unless it was at a specific slope... it all makes sense now...
