Games take many months-years to make. DOA3 is a game that came out in 2001... going by your logic....Christie came before Rachel.
This whole Rachel vs Christie should be settled come DOA5U.

She could be an interesting character. This would be a nice way to bring Tengu back and creates an epic rivalry with him.

Well I guess my question is this; If Rachel wore more clothing and had smaller breasts would you still be as interested in her being in DOA5U?
I feel like a lot of her appeal is just in her appearance. I just don't want a character to be put in the game for appearance alone, because that's silly to me. Gameplay and character should come before looks. If you actually like her for her character and gameplay, then this is not directed at you.
And I'm pretty sure Team Ninja chose to put the Rachel costume on Christie for RACHEL fans. xD I don't think it was meant to offend anyone. Although I admit I was a little annoyed that they put one of my favorite Leifang swimsuits on Pai, so I understand. ;____; Sometimes outfit exchanges annoy people.
By the way, does anyone think that they will add to the Story Mode? I hope they will, I want to know if Lisa lives and figure out what's up with Ein's description.

No because its her trademark. Thats like removing Ivy's boobs. Any Soul Calibur fan would be ticked off instantly.

But do you actually care for her personality, back story, and fighting style?
Ivy had ridiculous clothing, but she also had a very unique style of fighting and an interesting story.
Also, I used to be a huge Soul Calibur fan and even I thought her outfits and anatomy were too much in the newer games. Her signature outfit changed to be more and more revealing and her boobs went up like 2 cup sizes. O___o

Technically Rachel IS a guest. Not all DOA players are familiar with Ninja Gaiden characters. They are connected, but they are not the same game.

I don't think that's it. The thing is many fighting games have busties: DOA has them (obviously), Tekken has them, MK, Soul Calibur...you name it. This shouldn't be any surprise to anyone at this point. But, it is kind of getting dull. I think he is trying to say that publishers should try a different approach, instead of using oversexualization as a "way of making sells."

I'm just saying sometimes they change a character to add sex appeal, so it shouldn't be a big deal to change a character to have less big breasts either. You haven't even answered my question about what you like about Rachel BESIDES her appearance and instead you keep attacking me. :C

Thank you, I'm glad you understand what I'm trying to say. They shouldn't rely on making characters sell through their looks. I want interesting characters, and if they happen to look good, that's great too. Not every girl needs giant boobs or have their cup size mysteriously increase in each sequel. xD
big weapons...im not being sexual i like badass women who can hold their own,i also have a thing for LMGs and she carries one around now and shoots it one handed so sexy.also has to do with the fact that when i was watching Dead Fantasy she was badass.

Those are better reasons, but remember DOA is a hand to hand combat fighter, there will be no weapons. Also Dead Fantasy isn't canon so I don't know if you should base your opinion of her off of that. xD
And there is nothing wrong with finding a character sexy, I just think it's a problem when that's the only value that character has.

I agree with the flat chested part, but the term loli kinda creeps me out because it sounds pedo. Haha. But yes, they do need a girl like that.
DOA also needs a "MILF" or just an older woman who can still kick butt. xD
i don't think shes sexy,well not in that way cause believe it or not im not a fan of her "battle suit" in the least.its hard to describe i guess "badass" would be the better word because she isnt fap material in my eyes.
