Honestly, I think people are going to be in for a rude awakening. What people think will be an original style will more than likely just be a replacement for Nicole with a few new tricks.

I'm all for rachel if she has nicole's moves list. I can finally settle down with a true main if it does happen and not live with the limitations I had to go through with Spartan in DOA4 for WCG and CGS.

just no, with copy and paste moves that would make her even more of a wasted slot, she BETTER have her own move set. I don't why people want a third Sambo fighter.

meh i hope leon gets spartans unique moves mixed in with his unique moves and let rachel be original. having a 2nd psuedo-sambo character again would be redundant when spartans movesets suit leons style far better than anyone else in the cast

So what, she was caught off guard a few times, but that won't happen at all in Dead or Alive 5. She slayed Marbus, and now you and thousands others will be slaughtered by her via Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate.

No one's slaughtering anyone in DOA. Canonically she's not a great fighter by NG standards, and playstyle-wise she hasn't been good, or even competent, either. Sure, she CAN win if in DOA, but so can literally ANYONE. That does nothing in her favor. A floating paper bag could win in DOA if they made that a playable character. Doesn't mean it's cool.
And yes, she slayed a weakened Marbus who somehow came back after RYU killed him. Oh and then he came back again and Ryu killed him again just to one-up Rachel... like a BAWS.

And for those absurd individuals who thought anyone that used Rachel as a crutch in Sigma 2 I say this:
Is it your business who I choose to adore and enjoy selecting? I don't think it is. So if you don't like Rachel for that, you have a serious problem that probably translates into other mishaps in your social life and overall character.

She is always getting captured and plays in Sigma 1 & 2 entirely inferior to the other playable characters like Ryu. And she's fuckin' ugly. Her purpose is to have her tits splash around for fanservice. That's it.
edit: Oh, and to seal the deal that Sigma is way, way more annoying than Black.

I completely agree with this. Give Leon all of SPARTAN's good tools and make Rachel completely unique.

Tengu's stomp & grind down attack would suit Rachel's style of attire i reckon. Not sure about Tengu's other moves but an interesting thought nonetheless. They're showing off DOA5U tomorrow yeah? Can't wait to see what style of moves she will have as well as finally being able to witness Leon gameplay with hopefully his stage reveal also.
