  • Please tell me they had something more exciting than just Season 3 of SF6 at SGF. No KH4 update? No NG4 update? Just the same old AAA budget movie game slop?

    An interactive movie called Mixtape perhaps? Come to think of it. Why are devs fixated what happened during the 1980s and 1990s?! Whatever happened to current year?!

    All SF6 needs is Vega/Claw to complete the Shadoloo generals set! SF7 comes around Ryu, Evil Ryu, Violent Ken, Ken, Shadowlady, and Chunli are season pass nominees.

    NG4 will likely be at Microsoft conference.
    State of Play was trash.

    The only good thing that came out of it was the release date for Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, and maybe Nioh 3 if Yasuda didn't lie about it in the first place.

    I picked up the news after it was done, but out of all the new stuff I just liked seeing Lumines back and it's nice to finally see a new Bloodstained. Most of the other stuff looked alright, and nice to see pretty much all of it is also coming to PC and a lot even to Xbox, lol.

    Goddammit I forgot to edit this. Apparently I skipped two trailers that made the stream redeemable... the MK Legacy Kollection, and the new James Bond game I wasn't expecting to be revealed until SGF.

    The Bond game is apparently a lot like Hitman since it's by the same people. I thought you'd be into the FF Tactics remaster too, actually. And I gotta admit they're doing a good job with the Kollection, they went extra by including multiple console ports of the same games... that's one of two times Capcom looked like it got the L on this day, lol.
    I can't unhear this mashup in the DOA6 character select screen anymore... now I HAVE to extend it and make it a music mod somehow.

    Mortal Kombat 1 Definitive Edition was a missed opportunity at being called "Mortal Kombat 1: And Done Edition". It's less of a mouthful, and everyone can relate to one-and-dones.

    I joke but it does bother me that MK1 will end being less favorable than MK11, a game that I truly think was low effort and yet made all the money and dominated all the tournaments when it was active

    There's at least one saving grace in all this... I'll never be shy of lewd costumes and skins for Ashrah.

    That was the one thing that kept me going casually.

    I actually picked up the game too recently and got KP 1 and 2 for a huge discount. Sucks to see the game end support so soon, as the gameplay is pretty fun and there's way too many classic characters missing/not playable.
    Until I figure out what the hell's going on with OBS, and why it won't stream DOA6 smoothly while playing online, I won't be streaming live on YouTube for a while. It's back to recording replays manually.
    Wouldn't you know it, ZeoRebirth showed up in my DOA6 stream today. Haven't seen him in ages.

    Think I had a conversation with him regarding Ein a few months after I joined FSD and haven't heard about him since either, surprised to see him around all of a sudden. That happened almost a decade ago (checks the discussion) WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT HAS ACTUALLY BEEN A DECADE SINCE THAT HAPPENED?
    It's common knowledge to seasoned DOA6 players that Tamaki's 9k trades against mid wakeup kicks. But there's a lesser known move that does the same-- p+k. Just learned about it yesterday playing Autoaim on stream.

    I swear whoever beta tested Tamaki must have been clocking out early because the amount of moves she has with (probably) unintended effects is almost comical; 8k and 3k having phantom range, 4h+k was unholdable at one point but it also had weirdly inconsistent frame data (sweep style frame data on a non-sweep move), I know there's more but muh brain's not braining at the moment

    3p+k is very hard to time when beating out wakeup kicks. It could've used more active frames for leniency, but then again it's a tracking launcher.
    While streaming DOA6 every day possible on YouTube at 8PM EST, I'll be playing a different game each day from 4PM-7PM EST:

    You mean in her Pre appearance in the early messages she sent from the festival org? I think that set the tone immensely since she made her presence known without even having to introduce her self on screen xD
    Don't judge me, but I'm considering picking up Ayane in DOA6.

    - 3KK~ is your mid-range mid move to set up BT mix-ups (or back roll mix-ups!)
    - BT4H+K is an amazing hi-crush and mid-range keepout poke
    - 1P is your hi-crush low poke that sets up BT mix-ups.
    - 4P is your hi-crush mid-launcher (very unsafe though)
    - 2P is the god button

    - Whiff punish with 3PP, 3H+K or 236K
    - P+KP1/P+KP3 are decent moves at mid-range to set up Forward & Back Twirl mix-ups
    - From BT use BT~K, BTPP~, BTP+KP, BT4+K or BT4P+K~ along with BT~T
    - Along with BT~T, your go to throw is 64T for juicy combos
    - Best launchers are 4P+K, BT4K, 3H+K or H+K

    Thank goodness there are no stages like the training stage in doa5lr, infinite Azure, and Arctic Snowfall stages from Tekken 7 in DOA 6. A lobby set in the infinite time limit with those stages on is a nightmare-er! X.x
    Fatal Fury COTW is a way easier game to grasp than I thought it was gonna be... didn't even need Smart Style controls. Sucks that I couldn't play the Nightmare of Solomon in the beta, but at least the farm boy with the hat and the dragoon from Final Fantasy 4 weren't too hard to learn.
    Internet has recently been upgraded. I can finally stream DOA6 and Streets of Rage 4 again.
