    The "free" DLC character statement only applied for vanilla doa5. They never made a "promise" on free characters for 5U which is a completely separate title, we just assumed so despite paid DLC being a common trend in the industry. If anything surprised TN is making any DLC characters at all, those bikini sales must have helped.

    Also the entitlement attitude of "I bought the retail copy so that guarantees me free post-development content" is silly. People were advertised certain content on retail and that was exactly what they paid for. Any free DLC content happens is up to the developers fancy and they decided to give any new stages for free which by no means they were forced to.

    Hmm. At least you actually adjusted to the PS3 controller. I still can't do 1,3,7 and 9 inputs consistently! but that's cause I'm so used to using the xbox controller joystick to input commands... using the pad on ps3 is really difficult for me D=

    Eliot was great when DOA5 first arrived, whereas Gen Fu was getting there. So it's possible Eliot can become great again without Gen Fu having to die, just sayin'.

    It's a reference to Saint Seiya, particularly the Gold Saint of the Virgo constellation. Shaka is distinctively known for being a heavy practitioner of Buddhism, and as a result, always has his eyes closed 90% of the time. Normally reserved in combat, It is only when he is provoked to unleash his cosmo that he opens his eyes, which is a rarity.
