    Ah well, the only games I play online are fighting games really. So until the next iteration of the franchise goes next gen, I think people will be still be on current gen.

    Was playing 2U again. Makes me really appreciate 5s gameplay. The recovery time and damage on holds pretty much kills the whole thing.

    Well, you're totally right, lol. He was overpowered in 2U and complete shit in 4. The only good thing he had in 4 was the divebomb, but he had several things going for him in 2U. Namely 8K. An i11 high that launched on normal hit and allowed a followup 3P, 7KP, which then left you at fullscreen distance for a tornado.

    And yes, 2U's C3 was easily the best Tengu costume ever.

    I'd also rather have God mode Tengu than none at all too. You just can't call it "Ultimate" and not have Tengu in it. It simply doesn't make sense. Hell, when DOA players think of that word, they're probably thinking of 2U anyway... which was ruled by Tengu.

    I'm already waiting for 5U to die, so we can get DOA6 and maybe I'll have my character back.

    Brad Wong seems like a good character to learn, didn't do too bad with him. Still trying to get the grips with Akira who never appeared once for me today

    Man I've been trying to kinda pick up Akira for a while but jesus, it's hard. I'm more of a grappler guy and he's all strikes. Mid Ps to be specific. I always get mid punch held when playing as akira. haven't found a way around it.

    The game is supposed to be more dumbed down to welcome newcomers due to massive complaints of the series, but it's still in favor of more skilled players. What I like most about this game regarding the loss of bounds is that the game demands players to outwit the other now that launch juggles aren't obnoxiously long. Just like the Tekken 1-5 days :')

    Guy who runs from you is Hermes. He's a bit weird since I could never figure out his pattern (just hit me at random sometimes) but I did beat him on my first attempt.

    The scorpion on the other hand... ugh, fuck that thing. I hate it when they force me to use the Lion gauntlets.

    Yeah, I figured that out. There's that one roatating box room with the floor spikes just before you reach Pandora where I'm pretty sure it's impossible to beat the puzzle without using that.

    Just wondering whether you use a PS1 emulator at all on your PC? Good way of playing some classic games :) I just downloaded Countdown Vampires for the PSX & having a blast

    No. I've tried repeatedly to get a PS2 emulator working, but then any time I try to get games, they need an actual PS2 game disc or something and since I've never owned a PS1/2, I don't have any.
    Shame because I'd love to play DOA2/DOA2H/DOA2U on PC.

    I didn't know you could emulators for PS2, shame it didn't work for you. You can still play DOA1 on a PSX emulator if you can stomach the dated looks. Jann Lee's hair looks like broken glass haha.
