    Got into the Destiny Beta and took a break from DOA. The lv cap is lv8! Lowest I've ever personally seen in a beta. Got bored, back to DOA.

    It should be called a demo. Every other beta I've been a part of was testing the GAME, not just the first 2 hours of it. As for me, I found the game enjoyable, just once I hit that wall, that all ended.

    I doubt what looks on the concept art happens to be an exact replica on the in-game character model but then again, we can also say that TN incorporated bits of Axel's MR design in MR's overalls DLC and tracksuit DLC.

    I think they're just trolling with us, because Marie Rose shares my name altogether, and they made her Swedish, which my original fighter was also Swedish, as well with the whole blond hair, blue eye, babyface getup.

    Love getting underestimated because my rank lol. Just because I'm a B doesn't mean I suck lol I just don't play/can't find a ranked match.

    Really having trouble opening people up with P4. And her grab damage isn't very high either. Learning to be good with her is hard lol.

    P4's ability to open people up is abysmal. You're forced to rely on a very limited set of tools, and way too much shit is unsafe. Spamming 1PP or PP2K can only get you so far. P4's grab damage is proportional to your ability to execute her flashy-ass combos.

    Literally 30 min and no ranked or throw down found. Ugh why is it so hard to find a match tonight? Guess I'm off to lobby surf.

    I miss the DOA4 system(lobbies included). You're in a ranked match for EVERY match online. For me that made it more competitive. Every match had your rank on the line. Of course against friends it didn't really matter much unless there was a big difference in rank. Just something I miss.

    I like that set up, it's way more realistic. I'm only an A+ I just at least want S- and I'll be set for a while. not that I care too much about rank it's just an accomplishment thing I dunno... I've noticed around 6-10 pm is the best time to find matches. I go to lobby rank not throwdown

    it widens your search.... not that that really helps. I only fight the star ranks normally. I only lose 75 if they beat me and gain like 600 if I win lol

    I'm actually enjoying P4. I'm used to being unsafe lol so I can adapt well. People really should punish her though with a simple grab lol.

    I HATE fighting Hitomi!!! When is this girl unsafe or slow? I've gone through her data and I still don't get her. Tips?

    be ready to respond with a fast crush in areas that you can; just dont let the hitomi player catch on. good ones will start using thier mid to mid and mid to lows to catch your crush attempts.

    So P4 is unsafe and high dmg AND execution required? Now I'm interested. Lisa is similar in that aspect so it would seem that she fits me.

    How high exactly is Lisa's execution requires?

    If I were to use a grappler, I'd use her or Mila.

    Execution for button presses isn't high for Lisa true, but she is NOT easy to use. Execution in using her well is higher than normal.

    Lisa is considered a grappler? Always seen her as a mix-up heavy character. One of her best grabs doesn't even do damage. Just moves your opponent around to your complete advantage for mix-up galore.

    I'm pretty sure she isn't "easy" to use, though neither is Ayane and Brad Wong and their execution is piss easy mostly.

    Lisa has an i4 grab, she's a grappler. Ayane's "best" grab also does no damage, her 64T gives her +16.

    Am I the only one who has a problem opening up defensive players? I'm used to fighting aggressive players so it throws me off.

    Try to throw a lot. It will condition them to crouch, or try to HiC you. You are conditioning them to play in a certain way, in your favor. Switch it up every round, and don't do the same technique constantly. I know I'm using Zack as an example, but try this out:

    Offense>Throw>Offense>Defense>Punish (Looped)

    Persona is one of my top RPG series EVER. The only one I never played was Innocent Sin, my psp died before it came out, so I fixed that recently. I downloaded a psp emulator and downloaded Innocent Sin and its runs great, aside from some static sound issues.

    Would be cool to download a trial of the DLC characters. Leave them in free training ONLY no access to online. So no $ wasted on our end.

    Well I mostly agree obviously, the Vs.is a bit much IMO because then tournaments would have to deal with rules around it, or some copyright or something, since they wouldn't need to buy the DLC if you can play it in Vs. The characters being allowed in training only allows the player to test them out, to see if they actually like the character before spending money.

    I have to disagree :C (about Phase four, couldn't care what others thought about Nyo-Tengu so long as I get to spam teleports elegantly in the middle of a combo that ends with the opponent on the other side of the stage f(her teleport into the elbow)

    He is easily one of my top protagonist . I actually just beat the game and got the true ending. Such a great game. How many games are based on time travel and are good? This is probably it.
