    Top 10 Helena's worst moves

I agree K from BKO is crap. Until DOA 5 when 7P became a critical burst move, this was a USELESS move as well. Helena is a mind game character, so to have a move that is not only slow, but also only leads to KK was useless.

    Tina Matchup Thread

I decided to pull out some frame data. And you are indeed right. My argument has been crushed. I don't know why Lisa gives me a hard time.

This is true. My only point is that slower and more straight forward characters that rely more on defensive strategies are gimped even more online.

Your mindset is a major issue in the DOA community. Regardless of the fact that online play can never be taken seriously in the offline tournament world due to latency. There are a huge number of online players, which comprise a massive amount of the games sales and community. Alienating...

    Tina Matchup Thread

Tina's challenge varies online to offline for me. Online, hands down, my vote goes to Lisa. This is not because Lisa is a better character; instead, her online confusion in latency is aggravating. This is partially due to them both being similar fighters, who are looking for the same window of...

I just re-read this. This has to be a joke.

    doa needs more holds?

This is an awesome answer Awesmic (No pun intend). If anything, certain strike moves should not be counterable. At most one UNSAFE strike move per character. And even this is a far cry to potentially break the game's balance, but if successful would force players to rely more on reactive...

    The Official SoCal DOA Thread

I'll be in San Diego from March 1st-April 29th. I am a pretty advent fighter. I would like to get some offline battles in preparation for the potential NorCal tournament April 26-28. I'm not on here much, so anyone can email me at winkf1ma@cmich.edu . I'm open to fighting anyone.

Thelo's Quick Guide To Reaction-Based Defense

This is specifically why online can not compare to offline. Offline = more reaction ; Online = more prediction due to latency.

    Tina Patch v1.03

We are definitely on the same page. This was the first thing I thought as well. Of all the changes, I like this the best. It has range to get in close and gives advantage on guard. The only drawback will be whiffing due to the increased recovery frames from 26F to 30F, but that is okay as long...
