    scenario? hmm.. i guess something like hayate doing 6PP, after he does i do Pais 6P, which is 11 frames, yet hayate magically recovers and hits me b4 i hit him. A more general one is me doing 6P at the start of a match against say lisa. yet she somehow hits me first with like a 14+ frame attack.

    For Hayate, I could see how that would detrimental. Perhaps rather than the netcode, It could have been hesitation from you, or perhaps if you were mashing out 6p rather than pressing it at the tip of the buffer window.

In the case of Lisa's Backwards Kartwheel kick, I'm not sure if that's the 14 frame move you're referring to, but I don't know why that seems to beat out everything I do as if it's a offensive hold... but I understand what you mean now. I'll pay more attention online, perhaps I'll come to a situation like this, but frankly my punishment never seems to be associated with anything other than me.

    My biggest pet peeve right now is characters that can close distance fast with attacks that have high priority. Give Hitomi some of dat shit

    in my first reply though, I was referring to 46p and 236p for Hitomi. You can't attempt 236k but the range is misleading and falls short. They're all such short range that they can only be considered whiff punishers. 2p+k is also a whiff punish, but the unique thing is that it tracks, and has follow ups.

    That's why I initiated the character breakdown project in the lei forum. I just realized that I don't understand the guide's frame data. In cases like p6ppk or whatever, there are 4 hits but only 2 instances of startup frames displayed.
