    65%? that's not bad and awesome compared to my 33.3% ratio lol I'm hoping XBL likes me in 5U so I can actually play online more and be decent. PS3 I'm a shell in comparison to what I play like on Xbox.

    I committed to getting Akira's 3000 Win title before putting down vanilla. I'm 38 wins from getting it which I wanted to get tonight but I'm too tired to beat anyone due to the lack of sleep and food. won 4 out of 14 matches. Yeah, gonna call it a night. Rest comes first.

    Funny thing is I tried to pick him up as a 4th in Vanilla. I just couldn't do it. It's hard to imagine him being even worse lol.

    They picked some weird characters to buff and some even weirder ones to nerf. I know I should wait until September to make final judgements, but it's really hard to see how some of these changes could be a good thing.

    The only characters I've seen them do justice for are Helena, Leon, Hayate and to some extent Bass and Christie. Kasumi got a little too buffed and... well I could type a long post about the characters but I'll stop here.

    I never realized how reliant I was on that grab of Akira's until now. Guess I'll have to be reborn in ultimate. A new Zeo, STRIKER ZEO.. uhh

    That's true - he does have shorter strings. But Pai revolves around pokes too, keep in mind. If she didn't every single string of hers (apart from 6P+KP) would be beaten out by a single 2P since every string is high in the second hit (and in some cases the third and forth), and sidesteps with crush properties destroy her (like Akira's SS P).

    But you're right, he does technically suffer more from sidestepping than Pai. I just like that Sarah feels almost none of these issues. She has damage, speed, frames, mix-up, parries, and tracking. All she's missing is a good counter/throw game.

    Yes, Sarah definitely got it the best out of all the VF characters and ironically enough, she's gotten the least nerfs during the course of this game's life. I really hope she got her due in Ultimate in some way.

    I also don't know for 100%, but the track suit was in the demo. It might be in the US version.

    Well, since Akira's grab was nerfed. These last 88 wins on DOA5 I'm going to milk it for all it's worth. RIP Vanilla DOA5 Akira.

    Typically whenever something has a "new" version of it released the original/old version is always referred to as Vanilla as vanilla represents plain/original/untouched etc.

    Like the original Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter 4, etc. Even other games like Devil May Cry 3 as opposed to the Special Edition.

    Neither Akira or Ein are looking so hot but I'm loyal to my characters. Worst case scenario is I still use them but use another character for the most serious of fights. Like Leon who's looking ridiculously amazing.

    I liked how Leon Looked in the live stream. (New to Doa Lol) So I really don't know much about him. I never got to see Jacky though. I don't really know what to say since I've never played all the other Doa's.

    Jacky will be good because he's a VF char. Looking at Akira you might think differently but you've played Vanilla DOA5 Akira which was a beast. Leon's better than he's ever been, if you want to play him now is definitely the time also.
