man, i haven't touched mania in months, will this bring me back? probably not. i guess im not as much of a sonic fan as i thought, still hyped for the genesis collection though, phantasy star 2 and 3 on ps4? let's go!

Honestly, I'm surprised that they brought back the Metal Sonic boss battle from Knuckles Chaotix and used it for Act 2 of Stardust Speedway. At least it was made more enjoyable.

There was a metal sonic boss fight in knuckles chaotix? I don't remember that, I just remember that game being soooooo underwhelming. Oh, the specials stages sucked to

Yep, there was a Metal Sonic boss fight in Knuckles Chaotix. It was called Metal Sonic Kai and it was red.
In Version 1.04 of Sonic Mania (supposed to be the Plus update), Kai is blue. It was to make up for the lackluster boss battle for the original version of Stardust Speedway Act 2.
