Is it confirmed that my favorite jelly bean won't be back?

I mean, it's not confirmed that Alpha would be cut but she is definitely one of the characters who has a low chance of appearing in the game. Alpha did die.

However Ein appeared and he no longer exists, so the treatment might be the same for Alpha (or not).

I think she was used more in the tournament scene than Ayane (certainly won more offline tournaments)... there is no confirmation so "won't" is poor word choice though it's likely.

Eh, Ayane does get used in tournaments fairly regularly. The "winning offline tournaments" thing doesn't matter for a character returning.

I agree, but what am I supposed to do? Let the character I love fall by the wayside? I can make comparisons as well if it means saving my Alpha 152. She was an absolute hit and deserves more credit than that.

Well sorry that your main might not return, you’re not the only person that goes through it. DB loses his main as well.

I don’t think they’ll let Alpha be a end/midboss for 3 games straight. She’s been the boss of 4 and 5, I doubt she’ll be in 6 considering that her own buddy killed her. I love Alpha a lot, but she shouldn’t return to 6.

You should see JCA, he feels pretty down on Twitter about Akira not coming back. I mean, his name literally says Java Curry "Akira" he took the wound a lot deeper than most would understand, so I can understand him and deathofninja regarding a character that feels pretty special to them.

I play multiple characters besides Akira such as Leon, Jann Lee, Raidou, Hayabusa, heck even Zack and Bass so i'm not too wounded. But out of all the characters Akira clicked for me the most because he's so versatile and has everything I need to play. Losing my main if it makes sense, is like a huge nerf on my DOA experience.
