I don't find that baiting holds work online. People don't want to get hit by hi-counter throws, so they just SE or mash out of stun like you said.

Yeah, it's definitely one of those "offline only" strats, and since online has delay, intentionally delaying my strikes only raises the chance of me being caught by their hold since I'm giving them more time for the hold to come out lol
