Kasumi doesn’t fit in NG, it goes against her personality and what she stands for. She kills her own clan members out of self defense not to be the hero. She should stay out of NG and just stay in DOA. Kasumi could be in the Hayabusa clan but that would result into a clan war.

@King Anubis Then explain the reason why she appeared in Sigma 2 as NPC and then later in 3 as non-canonical bonus character? That's like saying Ryu doesn't fit in DOA yet here he is. You can't just ignore her yet Ayane gets a free pass. It doesn't matter if Kasumi's personality doesn't fit, she's already a goddamn ninja who's lifestyle involve killing!

Kasumi appeared because of fan service and to draw more fans into the NG series. Her lifestyle involves killing but she doesn’t want to kill. Hell, she doesn’t even want to fight. She fights because she must not because she wants to. I don’t get what’s so hard to understand about that.

If the Hayabusa clan takes Kasumi in the Mugentenshin clan will attack the Hayabusa clan because they need to kill Kasumi because she’s a runaway ninja of a secret village. Shiden wasn’t the head of the clan anymore, after Hayate got injured Kasumi became the leader of the clan. Also, Genra aka Omega gave the order to kill Kasumi.

Hayabusa actually does fit in DOA, he’s also a mentor that teaches people how to fight. He taught Momiji how to fight. Ayane is from another section of the clan that actually pursue and kill people, the Hajimon sect is the one trying to hunt down Kasumi. The Tenjinmon sect (where Kasumi, Shiden, Ayame and Hayate are from) basically don’t do anything.

Riiiighhhtt... like Kasumi is still in pre-DOA5 personality when she doesn't want to fight unless she's force to. C'mon! We ignoring the events in 5 now?

I still don't believe a clan war will happened because 1) Kasumi already took refuge before being summoned in 5 while her clone wandering around as her, 2) Ryu and Hayate are best friends, that will consider as petty on both sides, 3) if word came out, it would had happened right after 4/Xtreme 2.
